Wife's Honda Pilot does it and I like it to keep from curbing the wheels and also to back straight into parking spaces when I drive it. She hates it and turns it off - guess which one of us put the first curb scuff on the wheel.

I think this is just a humblebrag thread for OP to:
1) Brag about his new truck 2) Brag about how much of a redneck he is ("what's a curb" "I haven't parallel parked in since I got my license) that he doesn't live in "the big city." A simple check in the owner's manual would reveal the answer. Page 239.

But I was able to turn it off with alfaOBD. I've spent the last week trying to shut off as much of the nanny bullshit on this truck as possible. It's worse than the 19 that I traded. And I have not parallel parked in over 50 years. You can choose to believe that or not. Makes no difference to me. |

My wife's santa fe does it or not depending if the mirror adjusting switch is centered or a switched to L or R mirror.
