honestly.. I'm shocked that the atf ever allowed the " brace" thing to go thru in the first place..... it REALLY shows how retarded our guns laws are. it gets even worse when you compare a sbr, to a pistol with a folding brace...   I think the entire " brace" thing is stupid, and have no clue how the ATF allowed those things in the first place, with our current SBR laws in place.. as its OBVIOUSLY a work around to the law. even the atf themselves said shouldering them was legal, which made it even more crazy.. at least they are this week,, maybe not next week though. .....

I have several sbr's, suppressors, and  a sbs.... so, I'm not a stranger to the process, wait, or expense... HOWEVER, even though I think braces are " stupid".... I damn sure will take a loophole when presented with one, to save myself a pile of money. why the hell would I sbr a scorpion, and pay a extra $200 and wait 3-6 months, and have restrictions, when I can just snag a folding brace, and haul it around as a pistol?

I bet 80% of the population could not tell you which one was which.. and which one needed a special permit, or which one would get you 10 years in prison vs the legal one. that in itself is a travesty.. a " right" like the second amendment, should be pretty simple to use, and should not be fraught with perils..like a 1/4" difference of barrel length does.


disclaimer... I think the NFA is a gross 2nd amendment infringement.... as well as pretty much all gun laws we have today. a law abiding person should be able to own whatever they want, with zero gov interaction IMHO..
