My best friend and his wife both play. I cant get my wife to play :(. At least most of the time I am playing WOW she is sitting next to me reading a book  Tracker, with your Fire Mage doing 25% of the raids dmg, are you all decked out in Netherwind gear? How do you throw that much dmg out there and not pull aggro of of the tanks? My main is a Arcane Mage and most times I have to throttle back my output so I don't pull the aggro. |

I have mostly blue gear with a few purples, all of which came from 5-10 man stuff or was crafted. I have two points in Burning Soul which reduces my threat by 10%. Improved Scorch is my spell of choice, combined with Ignite and Incinerate gives me more frequent but smaller crits and stackable DoTs, plus I have Combustion and use it to get guaranteed crits every three minutes. My gear puts me at about +240 fire damage. Here's a recent ZG run. We only did a couple of bosses because of time and we had some newbies. I only pulled aggro off the tank once. BTW, the rogue that's way down on the list (Vladislav) was only there for one boss otherwise he would have smoked everyone in damage. He is a DPS-machine and is usually running about a 40% crit rate. |

A good rogue can out DPS a mage, and I played a good rogue. Its not so much keeping DPS low to control aggro as it is a tank who knows what they are doing, they are hard to find. With a pisspoor tank anyone can pull aggro. Ended up playing priest-tank before |

My mage tanked Gandling in Scholo when our warrior got teleported. The priest shielded/healed like mad. Gandling and I did duelling magic missles. It was awesome. Been tanking Strat & Scholo with my warrior. It can be quite challenging. |

| The trick is to let your tank get some sunders on before putting out the dps. If you don't let them get the aggro to start, you're going to be a cloth wearing tank. |

Anyone have their Grand Marshall (Rank 14) weapons yet? Damagemeter is goofed up for me. It shows my autoshot as a different person! |

I'm about halfway to my Grand Marshal's Swiftblade, a very nice tanking weapon for my warrior. ETA: A bunch of stuff from the Stormpike Quartermaster is pretty easy to get now. Most of the high-end stuff is only 7000 honor and 25 AV tokens. I have 6700 and 14 tokens just from playing since Friday evening. |

I'm considering going for some. I hit exhaulted with Stormpike before the patch dropped but only got 1/2 way through rank 6 so I couldn't get any armor. I got Don Julio's ring and the AV epic ram. It is nice that I don't have to waste money on the AV ammo anymore. Impact bullets and Wicked arrows are really cheap and alot more DPS! |

I've got about 25k honor saved at the moment, 96 AV marks, 45 AB marks, 20 WSG marks. 20k honor to go for my 2hander!  Some bastard in my guild with NO freaking life who's our main tank got his 2hander the day before yesterday. He's 22 so I don't know how he does it. He must have even less of a life than I do.

Guys, I got a PVP Realm question. Since it's my understanding you can't move a character in a 'Normal' realm to a 'PVP' realm. If that is the case do you guys just put up with the BS of other's that come along just to pick fights? Or is that sort of thing fairly rare? |

Well I always got beat down in some areas by 60s when I has 30 on one. I have went on my Normal realm to the starter area for the horde and killed everything, sometimes a level 10 player hits me and I melt thier face |

Skywall - Horde 60 Hunter 30 Warrior 30 Shaman 20 Druid 15 Mage 15 Priest 15 Rogue Had the game for just under a year, play an average of 2 hours every saturday morning before all the idiots wake up, but while my real-life friends are still on. I don't play any PvP, don't do any quests I can't solo. The game serves as a way to spend some time with friends from college, but we all have different interests in the game so we usually aren't questing together. I spend more time playing Morrowind and Oblivion than I do WoW, and I spend more time in various table-top RPGs (Whitewolf -- Vampire and Werewolf --and D&D, mix of 3.0 and 3.5 rulesets we refer to as D&D v. Pi) than any computer rpgs. Yes, I do have the +20 Shirt of Smiting from thinkgeek, and keep my dice in a crown royal bag. I also shower regularly, and hate mountain dew, so I'm not your typical gamer ETA: Look into the Insomniax compilation for your UI needs -- makes a nice "all-in-one" pacakge that covers the basics without needing to hunt down everything and hope they're compatable. |
I know, we needed MORE DOTS! I think people are afraid during phase 2. Aggro wipe people!! MOAR DPS! I'm not really concerned, I rarely die anymore, am usually in the top 5 for damage, and I already got my T2 helm. Just need to run it enough to get the sinew and the head. (I'm of course Gorgor) |

Go to thottbot and click on the beta link. It has a lot of the gear you can get. some of its better. Its nothing that will make you jump like a school girl though. |
AV is Alterac Valley, one of the PVP (player versus player) battlegrounds. You get in the queue then it summons you when your number comes up. There are rewards you can purchase with your PVP honor points. |

Gathered up all the gold between my characters, bought my 150 riding skill and got my warrior a battle charger. I did 3500 honor yesterday and am about 3k from my swiftblade. |

Can't you get a PVP Mechanostrider with tokens? Yeah grinding up the 720 gold for 150 riding was tough for me. Luckily most of my other money sink stuff was already purchased. Though I still want some +15 agility encants on my weapons. We have some older folks in our guild, as in grandparents old. Last night we had one in our BRD run (geez, that takes forever), on Teamspeak and he mentioned Scholo... "I still need to go in there and get Kruschev's bag of horrors."  I lost it but didn't say anything.

I'm 7k away from my GM Claymore. Even in an organized group it's tough to get honor. It takes about 10-15 minutes to queue for AV and AB on my server. Sometimes AB goes below 10 minutes. Sometimes AV goes above 20.  Doing WSG or AB without a premade group is pointless unless you just want the tokens. You will get steamrolled by an opposing premade group 9 times out of 10.
