If the MOE handguard has the Mlok logo, then it's compatible with the standard. Nonconformance is on the Olight end.

It's not a matter of mlok. It's that a 45 degree mount like that simply doesn't fit the shape of the MOE handguard

Both hg's are Mlok.

And Olight aside as well...

I figure even if he bought a non-olight mount that works similarly, (like the Travis Haley brand one), it still wouldn't work with the MOE handguards.

Can confirm that mount will not work on the MOE mlok hand guard. Had to get the magpul cantilever mlok mount for the rifles with MOE.
