These are some nice looking builds. I'm thinking about building one myself and would like to go with the G19 size but I'm worried my large hands would be uncomfortable on the compact grip so I may have to go with the G17 size. I wear 2XL gloves and since I can't hold both of these in person, I was wondering if someone who owns both sizes would mind taking a couple measurements for me.
I would like to know the length between the highest part of the undercut on the trigger guard to the top of the small swell (lip) at the bottom of the grip on both pistols. Or if you stand the pistol on a table, magazine well down (without the magazine) and measure up to the highest point of the undercut, that would give me a good reference. I'd appreciate the help before I place an order. |

There's usually at least one vendor at our local gun show. You might be able to try one out in person if you have a show close. View Quote |

If you were 2xl gloves I would go with a 17. Midway has them on sale for $119.88 and free shipping. I just ordered a light gray one.

Bought two 19x 19 round mags last week in the EE.
Swapped out the +2 baseplates onto G19 mags and vice versa. Almost everywhere is OOS that sells G19x Mags. |
|
I googled Glock FDE mags and got nothing except the old article about the special forces 40 cal (and rare) mags.
But a Glock 19X search gave me lots of hits. Thanks. So it looks like the 17 round 19X mags are essentially FDE G17 mags, correct? And they will work in these Gen3 Poly80 frames? |

I have all my parts ordered for a polymer 80 full size build that should be here middle of next week but I would like to pick up a carry style magwell for it. I really like the looks and the way the polymer80 PF-series magwell fits but it doesn't seem to fit the full size pistols, just the compact.
Does anyone know of a small size magwell (not competition style) that fits the full size polymer 80 pistols? I want something that fits properly, has clean lines and not something I have to modify the grip to make fit. |

I would personally love to see a 19 size frame with a 26 size slide. A officer type size.

Thanks. What I was really looking for was a full size P80 frame cut down to a 19 size. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Ok, I've been putting it off for to long. This thread has got me ready to go. I see the smoking deal on the frame kit but what's the best deal running on a complete slide to drop on these bad boys?

You might want to check 80%Glock.com for complete slide kits. They let you mix and match. To get what you want.

Stayed up late last night and got my lower put together. All excited, threw my 17 slide on there and poop, trigger won’t fire. Has a little take up then nothing. In turn, slide won’t come off. Got the slide off and can’t figure it out for the life of me. This is the first one I’ve done and first time I’ve ever messed with glock internals but still baffled. Ughhh
