ETA - "Mira" arrived at 6:37am! That's a great deal! FWIW - You can do the McDonalds straw trick to try and prevent overcharges. You can also get a sleeve off the eBay guy. I did both and while I still get overcharges, it's much better than it was. RCBS Reducing Sleeve You can also change the speeds in the Chargemaster to get faster throws: Speed Up Your Chargemaster I calibrate the scale before every use. I also know the supplied pan (in my case) weighs 152.2 grains. I throw a charge, take it off the scale, see that the scale returns to -152.2g and then I place it back on the scale one more time to check weight. If it's good, I place it in the cartridge and replace the pan, which should then go back to 0.00. If the weight, for example, shows -152.1g, I know the charge was possibly off and I can weigh it on the beam scale. If anyone else has a tip lets us know! I was going to invite you guys down to Quantico, but that's a hike for you guys considering you need to be there at 0700 to place targets. Also, we got bumped one day and didn't know until we arrived. ...I still need to play with the programing on my charge master |

I had a opportunty at Ft Meade on 2 occasions that got nixed after I got there both times...which ruffled my feathers a bit...some days you eat the bear and all that

It's been raining since yesterday so I had a chance to catch up a bit. I mounted the Vortex Gen II 4.5-27x56 so now the bolt and L260 are wearing the same optics. I cleaned up a bit and decided it was time to decap and clean up some brass. I'll shoot factory as long as I have it, but I have over 1500 once fired 260 cases that need some attention.
I'll start with the gasser brass, I probably have a 1,000+ to process. 
The first 300 are ready to hit the F.A.R.T.

A shot of Dawn, a teaspoon of Lemi Shine and two hours in the F.A.R.T and the first 300 are ready for phase two. The next 300 have been deprimed (broke a decapping pin at about 450) and will hit the F.A.R.T. tomorrow.

| Anyone have loose primer pockets with their Hornady brass? Out of 50 cases today I pitched 20 because I could tap them on the bench and get the primer to fall out. They were pretty loose after being once fired but I'm wondering if my one reload I put through them was too hot? No other pressure signs on the cases. Staring to re-think my brass situation. I don't want to buy brass I would rather fire factory and reload but I may be looking into once fired 243 and converting or Lapua brass |

Well, I've been reading this thread since it began and can't believe the great information and time spent going to the range, reloading, photographing, uploading, etc. . Tons of knowledge without even pulling the trigger, thanks guys. I finally had my case of Hornady and my new glass get delivered a couple days ago, so time to christen the new barrel.
Last 6 rnds pictured once scope was dialed in. I went from using MOA to MRAD and was chasing the setting sun after work and the bullseye like an idiot for a bit. Once dialed in, the Hornady factory ammo was shooting like a dream and these would be rnds 15-20 down the brand new barrel. Hott damn.
