FYI, check your barrel/package when you get it thoroughly even if you don't plan on building it out for a while. Mine was missing the gas block screws. I was hoping to get it to the range this weekend, alas that cannot happen without those. I filed a warranty claim Tuesday a little before 6pm Eastern (when I got home and opened the box), and they just got back to me with a shipment of the screws getting into the wind today. They're taking care of me, but it's a little frustrating - don't be the guy who sits on the box for months while you collect parts, then discover 6 months later that it's missing like the gas tube or gas block screws

All things are pointing to success. Raining, so only fired a few shots in the dirt in the backyard. After 8 rounds, no signs of leakage on the top 3/4 of the circumference. Little bit showing at the bottom at the clamping gap. Hopefully get out to the range tomorrow and put some more rounds through it. |
