Is search broken on iOS Safari for anyone else? I type in what I'm looking for, the quick search results come back but if it hit "Search" it just goes to the search result screen and spins the loading animation. Makes the site completely useless since so much of it runs through that search. If I open the site in Firefox or Chrome on iOS it behaves though.
I see order history going back to only 2019 but the thumbnails on it are totally jacked up. SA-35 order shows up as a RAL8000 pistol grip. |

@Brownells
You guys really need to go back to the drawing board on your website and your computer system. 2 minutes ago I just received an email notice that an order has shipped. An order that was delivered a week ago. I don't know who's running your IT Department but you need to get somebody that knows what they're doing. And fix the search engine. It's worse now than it was on the old website. I put in 20 round AR-15 magazine and out of the search results not one of the items was a 20 round AR-15 magazine. Not one |

It made for easy and quick additions to the cart. My wish list was for current or future projects. ".... All those moments (items) will be lost in time, like tears in rain..." |

Yeah it sucks . Didn’t expect anything different. Online orders timed out . Promo codes are click bait bullshit. You have more products they don’t apply to than the promo codes cover. Reports from some members the codes worked for them . Typical used car salesman responses from your customer service people . Your web designer the same guy who did Obama cares website 🙄

100% total fail. Go hire whoever did MIDWAYUSA's website. Copy it and get back in the game. You are losing business every second.

Brownells typical response from the call center in Manila : oh were sorry about this inconvenience that our bullshit promo codes didn’t work AGAIN and our web site is total trash . Try back again later

You have to look through the whole random list to find an item sometime.. |

Appreciate all the passion and the feedback.
Launching the new site was priority #1--now we're in debugging and refinement. It's a process, and we value your patience and again, the feedback. Our Team is constantly looking at the issues that are being reported and arranging for fixes. @SBRAR15 the site timing out is definitely frustrating, but that wasn't something we have been experiencing; is it still happening for you? Also, please send me an IM for what coupon code you were trying to use, and what you were trying to use it on. We're paying attention to the thread, so don't hesitate to @ me or @brownells as you're encountering anything that needs fixed. |

Marketing codes, web site , excuses . Well your online chat took my order and honored the coupon code only issue is the order number your company provided does not exist but you charged my credit card . So seems like the employees at Brownells do now know what the right hand and the left hand are up to .

Back in stock notification from pre-upgrade fired off, so, uh good job.
Search is still broken on mobile Safari though. I’m a big night time impulse buyer on my phone (when the good idea fairy strikes!) so you guys are losing sales to your competitors. |

I've been using my phone to look for things with no issues at all. So I tapped over to Brands, down to Z, then Zastava Arms: Attached File Same effect if I type in a search term then hit the magnifying glass to search. ETA - So I did some debugging while I couldn’t sleep. It looks like I’m the baddie here. I use the Purify extension on iOS to block ads and tracking, and it seems like the scripts used on the website run afoul of their list. I wonder if there’s third-party analytics/telemetry baked into the search script being blocked that takes the whole thing down, hmm. . Or if the third-party goes down, they’re going to bring the search with them. If so, I’d recommend not doing that or move it into server-side code because it will foul up folks running tighter security in their browsers. I’ll put an exception in for it for now since I need to make more use of Edge. |

Initial impressions... Not a huge fan.
Just gigantic meaningless banners across the home page. No cool "hey this stuff is on sale" area like there used to be. The old printed master catalog might be the way forward. |

I placed an order about a week ago and noticed that my Wishlist was gone.
I checked on it again today, and it was still missing. I called your customer service, and they had no idea that it was gone or what to do about it. |

I had 9 pages of stuff saved in a wish list and 4-5 pages of stuff in favorites. Now my favorites seems to be a mishmash of both, but only 12 items appear.
I saved stuff that I ordered before and would again (consumables like spray tips and coatings, mags, bunch of stuff). The wish list was stuff I'd love to have at some point. Losing all that just plain sucks. |

I’m just catching up with this. I hadn’t been on the website for a few months but moved this summer, so I tried to log in a few times in the last two months to update my address. My login doesn’t seem to work, and I’ve tried to use the password reset several times but never receive the email (checked my Junk folder repeatedly). Not sure if my account that I had for over a decade is gone, or if the system just isn’t working.
EDIT: I forgot that the Brownells website uses a different username than just your email address. I had initially tried the password recovery by entering my email. Tried it again today, and did not get the email with reset code. Tried again with my username, and the email came through immediately. Odd that both times, it said it was sending a message to my email address, but it only showed up when I started the process with my username. I was able to reset my password and log in without issue. I may have lost my wish list but still have my favorites. |

E.g.: I'm looking for Picatinny-mount 30mm scope rings, of height 0.95" Selecting both those filters gets me all results that are either 30mm, OR Pic mount, OR 0.95" centerline height. I want it to select only things that are 30mm AND Pic-mount AND 0.95" height. In other words, adding more filters (especially in different categories!) should NARROW the results, not EXPAND them. Otherwise, what's the point of filters? I can see it expanding the results when selecting multiple options within a given category; that makes plenty of sense. But adding more results as I make single selections in multiple different categories should not do that. Going off my above example (which I tested again about 10 minutes before posting this), I also added a selection for "Matte Black" color....and it gave me yet more results than before, so now I was seeing any and all rings that were Matte black OR 30mm OR 0.95" centerline height OR Pic mount. Please fix this. I don't want to have to select one filter type, go through the results, then reset my filters, select the next filter type, and so on all the way through my criteria, and have to cross-reference my results by hand. That defeats the purpose of multiple filters. |
