IAR 11.5 Uppers available (Page 4 of 11)
AU has the upper down to $1300 and the SBR to $1800.  Kinda stings if you already bought one but it's a hell of a deal at that price in my opinion, if you're waffling.

| I ordered two of the IAR upper halves. I ordered the first one when they put their second batch up for sale. It arrived and I put it on a factory lower half that I already had. When AU lowered the price, I ordered another. They sent a 6933 upper half instead. To their credit, they sent me a call tag and swapped it out without issue. I received the replacement yesterday. The box was the same size as the first one I received, but the print on it was different. More importantly, it came with an H3 buffer. The first one I received didn't come with a buffer at all. Are these supposed to come with buffers or did I just get a bonus the second time around? |

I ordered one from AU first batch and it was defective and STILL waiting on them to make it right lol Congrats on the buffer. May be their apology but jealous they fixed your issue so quick lol |

Any updates on the 16" version? Do you work with AU or read that somewhere? They still have a boatload of the 11" versions even after the sale pricing. They seem to be moving slow. Theoretically you could re-use one from a shot-out barrel, but swapping barrel extensions after the gas port has been drilled is tricky business. The barrel extension is what determines headspace so you can’t just “stop when the gas port lines up.” The other proprietary parts are the straight gas tube, and gas block. Not as big of a deal to swap those. |
