If I'm not mistaking the shirts were made by Crye Percision as an insider SHOT Show shit. I saw a guy wearing it at SHOT and thought, "that's pretty damn funny, He was braging to his friends how cool he was because he was an "insider" and got a limited addition shirt. He was annoying to say the least. I smacked him and told him to give me his shirt. It's a cool shirt. I kid, I never smacked anyone. |

I've got a file with the pics from the shoot. We're hanging on to them for now. To be perfectly honest, Magpul's own NickB took the photos in Rich's back yard the day we returned from SHOT this year. I had to shave the tactical Omish beard.

Dr.D- I have seen post from guys praising/bitching about the .308 round in short barrels (and everything that is gained/lost). Have you all ran the Massoud with a short-ish barrel and if so given the difference between that .308 and the 5.56x45 rounds did you see a larger change in what it took to get it to run well. -From the vids it seems to be running very well as is

| I've seen a ton of pics of these guns with cans. How well do the 5.56 versions (especially SBR's) do with cans on them? Have you guys shot one suppressed in 7.62x39? |

I really dig the fixed stock. No doubt I'll have one of each stock but the fixed is a winner for sure. |

The Massoud is an indeterminate amount of time behind the ACR and last they said, the Massoud is using SR25 mags. No details have yet been released on the Massoud and who will make it. These are the last things I have heard so they might have changed. I try and have a life outside the internet.

Agreed, I will probably sell my LMT Defender 2000 in order to finance the purchase of an ACR when they become available. I am still debating a move back to New England when I finish my master's degree to be closer to my Mother and Sister, which means I will be back behind enemy lines. Bringing an ACR to ban compliance will be WAY easier than bringing an M4'gery to compliance. If I am understanding things correctly I will have to snap out the folding stock, replace with fixed stock, ratchet off threaded FH equiped barrel for non-threaded barrel or non-FH equipped barrel, stash evil stuff with buddy in New Hampshire. Or just move to New Hampshire

More like a replacement. The AR is a great platform but everything the AR can do the Masada can do better and then some. I still have questions about replacement parts and barrel group mods, but other than that I'm pretty excited about Magpuls new creation.

How'd you like it with the silencer? Do you get as much gas blowback as with an AR? Even with a GB charging handle I don't like to shoot my AR suppressed too much. |
I shoot it in full auto (5-6 rd burst) with the can and had no blowback... BTW I love AAC cans! Mike |

It would depend on which way the gas is directed. The Adams Arms system sends it forward around the gas block, not back. -Kag |

You don't get blowback in your face because there is no cutout for the charging handle right in front of your face. |

There's still blowback down the barrel. It doesn't matter which gas system you're using on an AR15 platform. Like Combat_Jack pointed out, on an AR15 platform the C/H is the vent point for gas, even with a piston system. |
