I copied your 5 minute about 40%.
Copy on Nmbmxer 100%. That's all I'm hearing. |
|
|
|
I copied Robmkiv and KB7DX during the countdown as well.

This will be a relay night.

Thank you seek2! I hear you 100% but only about 30% of NC.

I can't hear KB7DX tonight but I copied seek2's tx 100% as a ghost copy.

Crazy since there's a half dozen mountain ranges between us. ETA: I head nothing for the relay, not sure if you tried or I just didn't hear you. Band got real quiet and then suddenly came back as well so it might have been then. |

I think I see DX on the screen but the noise level here
went nuts. I think the neighbors must have a plasma TV or something that generates a ton of noise from time to time. Ahh. City living. |
|
...behind every blade of grass...

Thankfully plasma TVs are almost all gone. I remember how bad it used to be.
My noise floor is zero unless one of the neighbors runs whatever QRM machine they have, I think it might be a battery charger. Considering there's only a half dozen places within a half mile whatever it is has to be way out of FCC compliance. ETA: Hearing CO BULLSEYE super loud here, probably enough to overcome a plasma TV. |

Great net. Glad Seek's signal came up, it went from 0% to 100%. One station was relayed in, but we were unable to hear him at report time. Another station checked in, but wasn't heard at report time.
A new station checked in, welcome. 8 total checkins plus NCS for 9. |

In this case, it's refused to decode it AT ALL. That 50% was where it at least recognized CW, even though it gave me gibberish. Or Swedish, I couldn't tell the difference most times. Finally got the sound card input right where it's doing CW at about 70% accuracy now, but i have to constantly fiddle with the squelch level. |

I should be able to NC this week. I can't guarantee anyone will hear me, though.
Slight chance I might be late for the countdown, but I should be back by net time. No thunderstorms the past few days so I should be good. I've done a ton of antenna upgrades this past week, and hoping one last bit of equipment shows up before the net -- but I should have a much better signal all things being equal. |

Had a couple tune-up glitches but first reminder out at 2302Z.

Prop looks better than last week on my end.
FYI after the upgrade the tuner (when it cooperates, which it wasn't earlier) can get a 1:1 SWR and everything is running at 200W without causing troubles. I have one more thing to do and I should be able to run my amp to its limit without RF in the shack if my suspicions are right. Anyway... 200W right now. |

Have to be in / out tonight, a t-storm is coming. All I hear are static crashes, though I did decode Seek2.

First reminder out at 2300Z and second at 2315Z so far.
2330Z and 2345Z out now as well. No copy on anyone though I saw tones between 2330Z and 2345Z. 2350Z out. |

I'm getting out on 40 FT8 just fine, whole east coast and Europe. Did a test to a Crotian qth and actually got the qso.

Got comments from 3 qth plus the one in/out. Only heard NCS as net was closed.

I should be present to NC this week's net.
We do have rain in the forecast, but not thunderstorms (yet). If I have seriously lightning I'll be QRT but everything looks OK for now. |

I will most likely miss tonight, helping a buddy load up for a trip.

Reminders out at 2300Z, 2315Z and 2330Z so far.
Had solid copy on Robmkivseries70 testing. The band appears very quiet, I'm seeing S1 noise with S5 peaks on static crashes. |

Thanks for the report, I saw your 18:30 CDT net warning but was filling my comment buffer at the time. The print is all there. The "A" index is at 5 but the "K" is down to Zero so we'll have good conditions for the net.

Conditions were significantly better then prior weeks. Signals were generally around S7 here
and I had everyone at 100% copy. Five stations + NC tonight. Thanks for making it! |

Been a while, but I plan to try the net tonight. If I can remember how to get Olivia going again.

I can barley copy bits of Net Control. Mostly ghost print for me. I threw out my call as IN/OUT after I heard others go. A few were very strong here in WV.
Have fun, HS |

I can't believe you heard me seek2! after I hit the TX
button I saw I was only putting out minimal power, like it wasn't even moving the PO bargraph. Silly me had the TX audio turned way down. |
