No copy on the 2300 or 2315 warnings. I've got the S9+ noise on 7114 again, rolls off to S2 noise at 5 kHz on either side.

Had great copy on redbird on 20M but I don't think anyone is hearing me very well.

I tried to send back but I seem to have some sort of RF feedback issue on 20 meters with my normal 72' wire. Knocked out my USB ports again. May not be able to do it tonight. |

last try on 20M now, heading back to 40M for the 2345Z warning.

I just got to the shack, what 40m freq? 7114-7116 is going to be unusable here unless you're coming in over S9.

I'm shutting down. Storms in the area are making a mess of my reception and they're getting close enough I should probably unplug some stuff, anyway.
edit, right as I was getting ready to shut down Mach came through pretty strong, then I caught Nmbmxr"s response at +5. No copy on NC |
|

Doesn't look like any of you are copying me very well but are getting NMBMXER ok...
You want to NC NMBMXER? |

Net closed tonight with 5 check-ins including NCS. Thank you all.
I like 7120, I propose we move until the jamming subsides. |

We're still 5KHz away from the digital band edge. There might be some broadcast interference at some point but it's coming up as somali rather than south american, which helps. |

Interestingly when I first moved here I did a temporary elevated 40M wire vertical with 2 elevated radials, bottom of the antenna was probably about 12 feet up, and of course no ground radials. I had zero issues with that setup at any power level, other than very legitimate concerns about starting a forest fire using bone-dry trees as supports. |

My dipoles are over the house. at 800 watts I see the RF on the monitor, get USB interruptions, get wifi issues, chirp the smoke detectors, turn on and off air cleaners and my transmissions come out of the hifi speakers with the stereo off |

Would watering your ground prior going on the air help?
Ground rods don’t work well dry from what i read. Your area would be dry i suppose. Spitballing |

Spitballing View Quote I've had about 14 inches of rain in the past 6 weeks and there's creeks within 100 yards on either side of the antenna flowing. It definitely makes for a better ground and more efficient antenna, but doesn't fix the RF inside. |

I should be present to NC, weather permitting. The net this week is on 7120 KHz.
Hopefully it's no an exercise in frustration. SFI is 84 and we've got 37 sunspots so prop might be a bit better this week. |

First reminder out at 2302Z or so. 7120 KHz
#2 out at 2315Z #3 out at 2330Z. Not trying 20M today. Also have 100% both ways to TX. Looking from IL as well. Might actually have a working net tonight, knock on wood. |

Monitoring, but 10 over S9 CW signal here.

I think that I'm out for tonight. I'm RXing you guys well, but me TX is wonky tonight. I must have a setting off somewhere. Although, it might have possibly sent out a message that I didn't type. I'm going to stop messing with it, so i don't mess up the net.

I hate fldigi (and Trimode) so much. Ever since I started running the rig as a Winlink gateway it takes forever to figure out why fldigi won't talk to the radio when flrig works fine. Tune in flrig and it tunes, tune in fldigi and silence. I came in 10min before the net and the radio isn't cooperating. Might be late tonight.
ETA: Had to restart the PC and stop trimode before it auto-booted and then on the 7300 go in a change the data mode to USB as trimode keeps changing it to ACC... |

Finally decent propagation for the net!
Five stations tonight, most hearing the others with 100% copy. Hopefully the SSN will keep climbing and prop will be better still. It's getting darker earlier which is helping 40M prop as well. |

I got mine going with a few seconds to spare. |

SRI, couldn't make it tonight, there is some roof work being done here.

I should be present to NC tonight.
No threat of storms so far, and we have 85 sunspots and a solar flux over 100, prop should be improved. ETA: But we're having some elevated geomagnetic activity... |

7120 unusable here. CW and SSB QRM.

Seeing the same CW in VA. Copied the "Testing Testing ......"

QRM doesn't mean a lot to Olivia for the most part.
I'm hearing at least two stations 100% here, and copies a signal report for both NC and the other station so far. |

Copied the warning messages but flrig froze up when I went to tune and is now unresponsive.
A reboot would probably solve it but I have too much other crap open on my computer to shut it down for this right now, so I'm out. |

I know some of you had QRM but man did your signals look good on my end tonight.
Best I've seen in months. I saw a couple deep fades on NMBMXER, but still 100%. We had three check ins + a fourth heard pre-net tonight. Thanks for checking in. Hopefully conditions are better still for us next week. |

Thanks for net tonight. On RX, my S levels were lower than normal, but the dBs were cranking high. I was catching a Spanish conversation popping through on occasion.
|

I had clear copy on NC and three check-ins in SE FL.
|
|
|
I should be present to NC tonight.
Sunspot number is down to 13. Hopefully that doesn't impact prop too much. ETA: Remember we're on 7120 KHz tonight! ETA #2: First reminder out at 2300Z |
