| Anything that will change the resonant frequency of the mast or whatever component is generating the vibration will work. Something as simple a bolting a weight of some sort to the mast/offending component might work. Automakers do this to exhaust systems to reduce vibrations at certain freqs. |

The turbine could use a blade balance but it not that bad. Typical Chinese quality or lack there of. It is attached to the building by six 5/16 strands of cable to points welded through the 2 inch box frame of the container I will just live with it.
I promised some more pics here is one. Inside the bunker..and yes that is 50 BMG!

I just renamed by 12 week old daughter Maroman in your honor. This is absolutely amazing, 10/10: Craftsmanship: 10/10 Design: 10/10 Style: 10/10 Protection 9/10 - Would have to be underground for a 10 but then we wouldn't see the cool exterior. Organization: 10/10 Now I just have to figure out how to do this on a 1/2 acre in my development and get HOA approval. WELL DONE. |

Non-permanent small storage and garden sheds are generally regulated in HOA areas. You'll have to check what the requirements and limits are in your area. Permanent structures generally have architectural restrictions and have to be faced with the same materials as the main house and a similar type roofline. As the container is/can be considered temporary in nature, you might get away with it that way. Or sell it as a trailer or a vehicle instead of as a structure. The thing with containers is if it doesn't look rusty and old they are accepted better. Paint it to fit into the neighborhood. There are a couple of nationwide businesses hawking them for moving and temp storage... this could go in your favor. Good luck. |

| The containers are not good for underground use. They are great for vertical loads at the edges, but loads placed horizontally against the sides will crush them. You would have to build retaining walls or other means to make it work, to the point that the container would not be needed. The best advantage is to make a basement type room underground and use the container for its roof. IF you could find at a decent price some of the larger precast concrete rectangular drainage pipe, it would make a great drop-in for what you want. One time I saw an empty pool that was covered with shipping containers for the same effect, wasn't done very well but the concept was sound. |
