He's actually a member here, but I don't know if he's active anymore.

I need an FA762-SS and know @USMCSGT0331 needs one as well.

I could be in for a FA762SS too. Went with a 762RC2-Ti for the time being which is by all accounts a better direction but not exactly clone correct. I really don't care what the can is as long as I can have the correct muzzle device... Surefire could make an RC2 that works on the old FA devices and I'd be all over it. Hell I'd actually prefer Ti for less POI shift!

Beautiful stock!

I just picked up this painted one.  It's the same exact stock seen in a photo on the Trident Archives instagram page.  I have a low serial number Wylie, TX Stiller action on the way that will wrap this build up nicely.

There's a handful out there that made it out of the factory before being built into rifles, perhaps someone here knows more details about it. They pop up occasionally on GB.

Going to get the build process started with RWS this week.

I have 2 sequential serial number M24 receivers available if you're interested. Build one into an M24 and the other into an M2010, it would be awesome to have these builds as sequential numbers! Shoot me a message if you're interested in the receivers.

Good luck with those, they're worth their weight in gold. Remington stopped making them almost 2 years ago and I don't think they'll ever resume production of them. I've been offered $600+ each for the ones I've got set aside for builds

Yup, the one rare parts plug I knew to ask said he hasn't seen any in around 10 years

My m24 will likely rock the geissele I have in the parts bin, or I may rob the 40x trigger out of one of my dad's older 700s.

$600?! Dang when they get up to $1k, I'll just throw Diamonds in mine and sell the factory units! Almost takes a third off the factory M24 price knowing you could get a substantial offer for the trigger alone...

Yeah, honestly the factory M24s that Euro Optic is selling are a good deal.

I doubt Remington will make more - certainly not anytime soon.

I couldn't agree more!.. I'm considering a third for my extra HSP stock. Would probably do it tomorrow if I could get some traction from AE on an AEM30/M24 suppressor. Ended up using a second EuroOptic M24 to build the M24A2 for $1500+ less than Remdef was originally asking for them.

Added a Wilcox RulR mount to the NF rings on my Mod 5 build. I love Wilcox ring cap mounts, I've had several different versions over the years (like the Aimpoint micro version I'm using on my Recce).

POS m24 is back up and running. Had to get the stock replaced after a failure. Totally different finish on the replacement stock that pealed when I had to sand the barrel channel. So I painted. Not correct anymore by any means, but I guess I could still flush it out with a correct scope if I can find one....

He's swamped right now, so he doesn't answer the phone. He's working on 2 government contracts and a shitload of barrels for M40xx cloners right now. Everyone needs to stop bugging him so he can get around to making my barrels, lol.

It's a 6+ month wait right now and he's going to retire next year. It's $380 per M40xx barrel, shipping included. Just figure out how many barrels you need, multiple by 380, write a check for that amount, write a note telling him what you want (also include your shipping and contact info), put everything in an envelope an mail it to him (his address is on his website).

Your stuff will be put on the bottom of his pile, he'll get to it when he gets to it. Once you send your payment and letter, just forget about it. If you constantly bother him, he'll keep moving your stuff to the back of the line. Everyone just needs to let the man do his thing.

I always wondered the difference between the 2 HS stocks that were apparently used on the M24A2. I know it was only fielded by a select few units (or just one) but I’ve seen both in pictures/videos. So which one is correct??

Has anyone ever seen an M24 with the Surefire 762SS mounted?  Looking over the SF price sheet I noticed the specs for the muzzle device for the 762SS mentions its for the M24 and M40.

It was quite the shock today when I opened up this month's issue of American Rifleman. Bruce Canfield did an entire article on my Krag sniper rifle! He used the photos from the 2018 auction I purchased the rifle from.

Don’t know if this has been discussed here before. Saw this on KRG’s Instagram the other day. Post says circa 2013. I think they were trying to go for the mk13 chassis contract. Sweet rifle I’d like to build one day.
