Founder's Backwoods Bastard, with almost 2 years of age on it.  Much better than it was fresh - that crazy pucker-up sweetness is seriously-tamed.  This is the limit for this one, though...  A few months ago was likely perfection for it.

The most recent release of EH Taylor barrel proof, the 128.1. Fat pour in a glencairn, neat. If you enjoy the high proofers, find a bottle of this, it's everything I love about bourbon and the only thing it lacks is the complexity that comes with age.

Yes it is.  This bottle is still from the last batch, 130 proof.  Haven't broke into the new 129.5's yet.

Can't wait for the Elijah Craig barrel proof to hit the shelves again.  Hoping they (Heaven Hill) stay true to their previous September release time line and we see them here in PA in October.

Can't hardly go wrong with barrel proof bourbon.

Dug out two bottles from the beer fridge so far.  It's a glorious day in Eastern PA!!

This was quite good, though a bit sweet right now.  6 months and I'm betting the other two bottles I have will A-MAZE-ZING.

Also good but not spectacular.
