-3 is asparagus, not potato.

oh now bullshit. You know there are no negative numbers on the Periodic Chart of Vegetables. So your answer of -2 would require the existence of an anti-vegetables, which clearly do not exist. The only logical answer is 13 Potato, which sits just above 23 Sweet Potato on the Periodic Chart.
