Post a pic of your deer rifle.  After you take a deer, edit your post and post a pic of it.  Those who have no edits (didn't get a deer) when the gun season in your state is over are required to post a pic of them donating a toy to "Toys for Tots".

I just finished this 2 days ago.  Savage 110, 30-06, Lug and Barrel Nut from Jim at NSS, Obermeyer 26" MTU pipe, "Tacticool" stock (sanded off the black paint and stained), bedded, floated, tuned factory trigger, bolt knob, 20 min base, Seekin's rings, Leupold Mark 4 LR/T 4.5-14 Tactical (mil).

It's my tribute to the M40, a mix of wood and flat black.  Sort of old school but with the A5 feel and in the original caliber.

Shoots 170 Sierra Pro Hunters pretty good.

My deer rifle is a Remington 700 AAC/SD, with Leupold 4.5x14 scope.

Depredation hunt earlier this year, just under 400 yds, she took one step...I prefer crop damage depredation hunts to hunting during the regular season:

And the celebration!

300 blackout sbr using 110 grain Barnes black tips over 20 grains of w296. Got a can for it a few months back so I'll be hunting with that on it this year.

It was a small deer, but oh boy was it tasty.

I drew out on a CWMU hunt this year (Utah) This is the big boy whose destiny was intertwined with mine. 6x10 w/ 26" spread
