I'm newer to red dots, but what makes the rmr better than say a vortex sparc? Especially because the rmr is 5x the cost.

Is that the slim flash can or regular?
I keep putting the ALG Defense rail in my cart, and just cant seem to pull the trigger on it yet.

Regular Flash Can. ALG rails breed in the safe man, just took the Dd-lite off my M4 and put on a 13- M-LOK ALG. Damn Primary Arms emails keeping me broke.

I don't know preference I guess.  I like the small lightweight compact attributes it has.  It's made in the USA and tough as all get out.  And it isn't 5x the cost...more like 3x and even less if you find a good deal

Could the OP move that grip any farther forward? I don't think he can wrap his thumb over the flash hider with it that far back. Everyone knows to keep the flash down, just move the AFG way out and stop the flash with your hand and thumb.

Sexy beast. I might upgrade my 7.5SBR to a new ALG's rail.
One is definitely going on the 10.5 build.

Pistol?  Definitely an Aimpoint Micro, or Primary arms micro dot to save the $$.  Suits really well on a light weight setup.

Never tried or seen the PA micro in person, so no idea.

The Vortex works good on my 7.5" pistol, and midlength AR. That's all I know.

It's a good optic.
