To me that is a terrifying image in the OP.  I don't care about Fatty McFatterson, but what does terrify me is a bunch of government officials overseeing a crop in the field.  Reminds me of some Pol Pot type stuff.

Because he has minions willing to execute other minions so they can keep food in their kids' bellies.  Besides, if someone schwacked him, it's not like some benovolent figure will take over.  Their history of leaders since the Communist revolution has been a progression of ever increasing viciousness and stupidity.  They should probably keep this one alive as long as possible.  God only knows who they'll get next.

As far as getting fat, I'm sure the average Arfcommer would look like Shaun T if all he had to do was eat steak, fuck slave girls, play with army guns and execute disloyal subjects.

Ok, so you're agreeing to use 'god' to refer to real people who have never been claimed to be deities?

Its all related.

Culture eats strategy for breakfast (attributed to Drucker).

The American culture will define what our permissible strategies are.

as the culture changes, so must the strategy.

Out of random curiosity, what is the story behind this photo?

U.S. and South Korean soldiers escort a North Korean soldier, center, to repatriate him to North Korea at the truce village of Panmunjom in the demilitarised zone separating the two Koreas, about 55 km (31 miles) north of Seoul, Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006. Two North Korean soldiers who drifted on a small boat in the East Sea and rescued by South Korean Navy vessels in the East Sea on December 9, were repatriated on Wednesday.

This army would not last a week in a conventional engagement before collapsing from exhaustion.

The Nork in question is being repatriated along with another Nork soldier in a board that strayed into S. Korean waters and was picked up by the S. Korean Navy. See my post above for more details.

My guess is the real story is that the Norks were probably defecting (or spying) and were worried about the safety of family members still in N. Korea.

The Korean soldier is a Jungwi (First Lieutenant). The US Army soldier was (in 2006 at the time of the photos) United Nations Command Security Battalion Commander (JSA) Lt. Col. Mike Anastasia.

Okay stretch armstrong.

Keep on pretending people treat north korean leaders the same as Richard Dawkins.

Yeah, I bet.  I bet you can find stories about Dawkins playing perfect games of golf every time out, and locating unicorns, and curing disease, and all sorts of shit.

Sorry dude.  An informed intelligent skeptical western atheist is farther away from worshiping those dudes like gods than any theist, including all christians are.

I'd put dollars to donuts religious sheeple (including people you sit next to in church) who would be faster to worship at the thrown of some made up dictator half deity than would an "anti-theist neckbeard".
