The only reason I have Comcast cable at all is because the lowest-tier internet package is bundled with a 10-channel cable package I never use(it's all locals and Showtime).  The only choices I have at my current residence are Comcast or Comcast.

Yeah, one of our cops was gay, and dating the fire department chief ( also gay ), and the Fire chief was fucking around on him with one of the EMT guys. This is in a town of 2500 people. It's shocking.  A fight broke out between the cop and the fire chief and the cops house.  The EMT was the "bottom" or whatever, and the cop and fire chief were the "tops' or masculine types.

The cop finally got fired, but only after he'd had a run in with the local witch that has several racoons for pets in her house, and runs a phone / video sex service with her "Wizzard " Wiccan lover, and a girly gay boy. The witch had turned the boy against the cop, and had him running a gay male video thing. Cop went over there off duty for a dinner date and all hell broke loose.

That's pretty much the story as I remember it. I may be missing something here or there, or have something mixed up, but, all the elements are correct.

I kid you not. The witch is the one that sued the town for praying before the county council meeting back about ten years ago. Something has to be in the water. I really thing all of this "acceptance" is actually getting people to experiment with and get comfortable with that lifestyle. That's why they teach it in schools.

I do know of kids that you could tell were gay from the time they were in kindergarten or first grade. We have one family, one of the above mentioned is a member of it, where about every third male is gay. One of them went to school with me, and you could tell back in first grade he was different. Very effeminate from way back. He had an uncle that way, his name was Jack, and he had everybody call him Jackie Boy. This guy was around 50 back in the mid 70s, and would be out cutting grass in a bedroom gown and pink slippers, with a curlers in his hair. He looked like a movie star lol , and his boy friend was from NY, rich as shit. Anyway, the family is full on with them. The one that went to school with me was friends with everybody though, he wound up killing himself over it back in the late 80s.

Like I say, I know there are some that are born that way, but there are a lot that aren't, and all this shit on tv and in the schools , and on Disney is pushing the agenda to get more and more of them.

I'm wanting to cut out cable, but I need some sort of live news, with at least a "lie to me conservative" slant like Fox.

Whenever I can get that on one of the service boxes, I have Hulu but haven't used it in years, I will cut off the cable. Get an antenna for the rest.

Shes the one that ruined the Scifi channel, turned it to "Syfy" and added horrid shows to it.

My advice: If you have access to a decent internet connection, cut the cable/turn the dish into a sled and don't look back.

I have comcast but just internet. I have an OTA for the super bowl, netflix, amazon, hulu, and a plex server with 402 high def movies and over 100 sd movies.

For whatever reason (contract issues or it was moved to a higer priced package) Spike TV is no longer available for me so, the few times a week I want to watch Cops on TV to feel better about myself, I FUCKING CAN'T!

I haven't watched History Channel, Discovery, etc... in years. Movie Channels for me and On demand. I watch reruns of the Simpsons and watch TWD, Colony, and Shades of Blue.

No, they're pushing an agenda at the expense of profits and viewership. That is why all of the streams and other services are getting so popular. The vast majority are trying to get away from them because they don't want to watch. That's why they're dying.

If it were not for the stupid decisions to chase a politically correct market, that isn't there, the Roku, Amazon Fire, and all the others wouldn't be growing at the pace they are and starting to take over.

People would much rather be able to just turn on the tv and work the remote than they would have all this other crap to deal with. I know I would. But, you can't, because for $40 a month now, you get 195 channels you that are shit and 5 channels that you watch.

The cable and satellite companies have killed their businesses. They won't exist as a in home service provider in a few years.

Where once, everyone had them in the house, and they got all that revenue, in 5 years , you'll be hard pressed to find a few houses that have it.

Check back in a year and see if that actually works out.  This looks more like an agenda-driven change that will fail, see Current TV.

Unfortunately where I live I am pretty much limited to my 1.4 DSL or satellite.  And the satellite that I have seen has monthly data limits, and my two kids would eat that up in a heartbeat.  So I am just stuck I guess.
