Ammo from Underwood as always.  They are STOUT loads but modern M19s can handle them well unlike the original ones.  3" barrel with a compensator,  a tritium front sight and a PC action job.

The knife is a Brous Blades Silent Soldier flipper framelock with a CF scale.  Stonewashed S35VN blade on bearings.  A very neat little blade.

I've been reloading .357 with 125gr xtp's and fp-xtp's and they are damn good out of a rifle. What barrel length is Underwood gettin' those velocities from?

I need a modern .357 wheel gun, just can't decide on one.

If the internet has taught me one thing, it's that people are sick and fucked up.
I don't believe there was a German Sheppard.
I think some weirdo in the Stasi just got off on scared sweaty underpants and collected them for his own fetish.
I bet he just told everyone about the Sheppard as cover for his kink.

Carry comp is a gun I want.
I'm going to need to add larger grips to it though. I'm not a recoil junky and I want to hang onto the gun.
It's beautiful though!

Knife is cool too.

It doesn't seem obvious from their site what barrel length. An end user tested them at 1550 from a 6". For the .44 I load, velocity through a carbine is +++.

I don't have a Chrono currently but going by the load data, and keeping in mind that Hornady "limits" the 125gr fp-xtp to 1700fps, I'm pushing it. So far no signs of overpressure with h110, but there are some other powders that you can squeeze a few more fps out of a 20" barrel.

I've been looking at some form of 45-70, but after looking around I think 44mag would be more than sufficient for my purposes.

As of now, S&Ws are made in TN, MA and Maine.  The corporate HQ is in TN.  Everything will eventually be removed from MA like Beretta did to TN.

The fit and finish is excellent.  The finish is a flat blue.  While the PC action job is nice, when I have the chance I'll probably have my gunsmith go through it as he said he can improve it.  I'm in no hurry.

Claymation and Gumby is a childhood right of passage. There’s some toddler channel on satellite tv my parents have that my kids would watch when visiting. Half the stuff on that channel is claymation cats morphing into other cats. There’s a catchy song that goes with the intro “meow meow meow meow la la la la la”. I've been using 2400 for full power loads & Unique for cast plinker loads.

For a standard point of reference, this was typical Win. White Box (advertised @1180 fps) through a 20" barrel

I can't find 2400 locally, that was an option.

~1900fps with a 240 pill is gonna leave a mark.

Whipped cream in a pumpkin brew. Never had such a thing before. It was quite nice.

We just found a really nice pumpkin brew. I'll have to try the whipped cream thing. Sounds a little sweet though.

I took a small diamond file to the worst of the damage and got the burr knocked off. You can still see where it was, but you can't really feel it anymore.

It'll do until a new screw gets here.

They put the whipped cream on top like you’d do to a cupcake. I didn’t get a noticeable sweet taste until the stein was nearly empty but i did have to eat through the whipped cream first to be able to have space to drink it.

Definitely don’t mix it into the beer from the start.
