At the last gun shop I worked at I would tell people not to buy the G2, it would not work when they tried to shoot it. Sold 4 the first week and every customer came back to try and return them.

My God, what would that be like to fire???

I saw an HK91 with a 10 inch barrel being fired on an outdoor range at high noon and the muzzle flash was still highly visible and bright, like it's own little sun.  A .50 must be like a supernova...

Everyone says that, but it's not really any more complicated than other revolvers.

A good friend of mine from near Helena Montana asked if I'd like to try his Ruger in caliber .475 Linebaugh.

I figured one round would be plenty.  He said "Nope, ya gotta fire all five. It's a rule".

Here's the first round.

I did fire the next four and I consider it a highly successful lesson as I was not bleeding anywhere when I finished.

It's an M26 with a standalone stock and pistol grip.  It's a straight pull bolt action 12 gauge that was designed to be mounted underneath the barrel of an M4.

Usually it's never the base gun that is cringe worthy but how it's equipped. Like horrible paint job or putting a air rifle scope on your m16a4 for rifle quals lol.
