With 11 game-changing innovations, the RDB™ is the new definition of bullpup. Its downward shell ejection system eliminates the side ejection disadvantage of ordinary bullpups. The result is casings that eject out of your line of sight and a truly ambidextrous, high performance rifle. The RDB is also adjustable for a wide variety of ammunition. It’s definitely the bullpup done right.

That looks like an HK import rifle from the early 2000s had an inbred child with a ban state weapon.

That front sight is ridiculous.

Where does your thumb go when you hold the rifle?

Looks very awkward with no pistol grip, no place to put your thumb. Looks fragile with that goofy front sight.

I passed on an RFB last weekend for 1250. If I'd had the cash, I would have bought it. Shot them before and they're solid. Not your average Keltec.

Have the RDB bullpup and really like it. No malfunctions, seems tight and has a decent trigger for a bullpup. I know some folks have had piston issues; mine has been fine. It's a nice range gun, but doesn't serve the duty rifle function of my X-95 or Tar-21. The survival model of the RDB is supposed to be exceptionally light.

Don't live in a ban state. Don't need a ban-compliant rifle.  Looks like it was designed by Ray Charles having withdrawal shakes.

Front site gets removed and exposes a threaded barrel.  Add red dot, add suppressor, remove rear sight = fun compact rifle.

I will definitely buy one. They also come with an optional front rail system. If you've followed SHOT Show 2017, pretty much every reviewer says it handles great. It looks awkward to hold, but that is not the case. Very lightweight and compact. Also, you can change out the grip and use the pistol grip from the regular RDB, if you prefer. It's a modular gun.

Here's Nutnfancy's reviews. Whether you like him or not, he loved the gun. He says the trigger is not bad at all.

If you don't like the iron sights, they fold down, out of the way. The front sight is also completely removable, in case you wanted to put on a silencer or other muzzle device.

I can't wait until I get mine. They're supposed to cost about the same or even less than the regular RDB. Now, let's see if Kel Tec can build enough of them.

Is the receiver plastic like the SU 16?

I don't understand people's obsession with these, while simultaneously hating the regular RDB and Tavor, X95, and other combat-tested bullpups.

They should just extend the forearm and top rail so only a threaded part of the barrel is exposed. Ditch that shit front site and just put some folders on the top rail.

I dunno, it seems like a kind of neat trunk gun or something you slip behind the seats of the pickup truck to nail coyotes, while also being more compact than an AR. At something like $1200 it would be more expensive, but whatever.

I would love to have any RDB, but apparently Kel-Tec is content to put out 5 or six of a gien product every year.  I have yet to see one in the wild and will not purchase one until I can feel it in my hands

Local store had one RDB for $800ish. Assuming this will also be the case when they're allocated their one Survival off the assembly line in five years or so...

I've got an RDB too. It's a lot of fun at the range and has had 0 malfunctions. They are great little guns, the only thing I would change is the mag release. On the regular RDB there's an ambi mag release that's easy to hit if you tuck your elbow too tightly to the stock. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.
