Prices are down to @$180-$210 shipped on e-bay. Tons of them available. I would say in about a month they should be down to MSRP or close to it.

So I was walking past the Lego store in Leicester Square here in London this evening when lo and behold, there it is! Damn, that thing is big in person.
If you look closely, you can see they have a few in stock, as well.... Attached File Sadly, the store was closed for the evening. Thankfully, the one I ordered from Walmart is already waiting for me back home in the States! |

My wife and I are in our early 30's and we've got quite a collection of mostly Star Wars Lego. Hell my wife and have each finished a kit within the last 24 hours.
I saw the Tested video earlier this week about the Saturn V and knew I had to have it. Too bad I'm late on the draw. The sad thing is I have the money, too... |

Lowest starting bids on e-bay for the Saturn V are $150. See some closing at the $180 mark. Prices keep dropping almost daily. Looks like the flippers better start dumping their inventory before it gets down to MSRP.

My Saturn V arrived today. The build table is getting crowded. My wife needs to finish her carousel.

Wife gave me my fathers day gift early since I'll be out of town. She paid $112....looking at the prices now makes me wish she got 2 sets.

Hopefully we'll see some stock come back. I missed out on the first round.

Dang it, I hope they release more of these.
I took my kids down to Houston over their spring break to visit NASA and the USS Texas. They love legos and would flip out over this. Attached File |

There's a Lego store here at Disney World and I was in it today twice. Completely forgot to look for this thing. Tempted to go back and see if they have any in stock
I'm a huge Lego fan. I've loved them my whole life, but man they've gotten expensive. Like I'd love to have one of those enormous Millenium Falcons or Star Destroyers, but $500+ for some plastic is a kick in the balls. And to think those kits are going for thousands now. Bonkers. They had the Tie Fighter and the Death Star at the Lego store when I was in there today. They also had the Technic GT3 RS. All so freakin expensive. This kit, on the other hand, actually seems reasonably priced for what you get. Tempted... |

Attached File Now I have to figure out where to put it once it's built |

Coworker has one at his desk. Said it took about 6 hours to build.

Called the Lego store at Disney Springs this morning and they didn't have any. Even checked the shipment they literally just got off the truck. No luck.
Oh well |
|
|
|
Jeez. That was fast. Looks like this set is seriously popular.
Not surprising, I suppose, given the subject and the very reasonable $/brick ratio. |
|
Anyone else have theirs built and displayed yet?
Good news for me, I bought a house! First thing I'm doing after move in is building mine for my new study |

link Actually pretty good value on a price per piece ratio, it is a meter tall fully assembled View Quote Secondly, LEGO prices are pretty crazy considering you are buying mass manufactured pieces of plastic at a huge mark up. |

Still waiting for backorders to open up again. I finally got a smartphone, so I can stalk it better at work lol.

If any of you follow Amy on Vintage Space, she's been livestreaming her build; part 2 was last night, part 3 will be next Monday.
She was really struggling with the first stage last night. |
