Thinking twice and posting once.<img src=/images/smilies/anim_rolleyes.gif border=0 align=middle> Ya, I can make that. As always, YMMV. |

I finally got the RRA flattop uppers I ordered 3 months ago yesterday, so I was able to finish my two M4 projects.
Here's the pictures as I promised I post. http://home.comcast.net/~canyonflyer/M4s_2.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~canyonflyer/M4s_1.jpg Both started as RRA Stripped lowers, went with Bushmaster M4 style 16" Patrolman's barrels on both( like them because they are lighter, and still have the profile cut) The green one has RRA Green 6 pos stock, handguards and Grip, The Coyote Brown one has the 6 pos stock and Handguards ordered from Ameetec Arms, and a Magpul Coyote Brown grip. Im keeping the one's with the Green Stocks, the Tan one was built for my brother in law to his specifications...almost want to keep it though, came out looking sharp. Interesting note: I ordered a RRA carry Handle for my green one, and a Bushmaster carry handle for the Tan one. I noticed when I got the RRA handle, it had a white "Rock River Arms" printed in small letters on the left side, just forward of the rear site. The ironic thing is that on the right side it had the same manufacturer's stamp as the one I ordered from Bushmaster did, and in the exact same place. Looks like both companies use the same vendor, but I ended up paying about 10 dollars more for the RRA Carry Handle. That's some expensive white paint! |

Finally got my new Bushmaser m4 assembled.. I got the upper receiver for it today.
I don't have my high-res camera, it's in storage somewhere.. but i took a few very crappy pics on my phone. Bushmaster "Patrolman" 16" m4 profile barrel, 6 position colapsable stock ************ Removed do to bandwidth problems on my server ************ i know the pic quality sucks, but i'll get some high-res shots tomorrow.. i just couldn't wait to show off my new build :):) |

My first AR. My first post! I lurked here about four months before I finally made up my mind. Thanks to everyone here for sharing their knowledge. I also bought several books on the AR, which helped me learn the basics. It took about 3 hours to put together. Stag stripped lower M&A Midlength carbine kit (RRA upper) M&A MAD BUIS BSA 30mm Red Dot ??? tall sight rings Shot about 100 rounds thru it last weekend. Iron sights initially shot low at 6 o'clock. All it took was a small sight adjustment and it shoots right-on. The red dot was a gift from my 80 y.o. father. He likes red dots, but this is my first. Most of my other rifles are WW2 vintage, so I've always used iron sights. I guess I'll get used to it... BRD strikes another...ops32 |

This is a build I helped my brother do. It is a RR lower with the National Math 2 -stage trigger. The upper is a custom job that started as a 20" stainless barrel that received fluting and a compensator.
