I wish I didn't have to carry as much gear as I do or I'd definitely be getting myself a Komodo Dragon. I also wish that MR packs didn't cost as much as they do

Just got my UW Gear 2 mag pouches in woodland with CB webbing.

Look at the width difference between the GI 1 or 2 mag pouch.

UW Gear says a 5 month wait and the waits are just that. The stitching is better than all other gear I have (Eagle, HSGI, SPEC-OPS), USGI). It's just more thread in straighter damn lines.

Yeah I think it's the Velocity Swift Clips don't remember, I'm also using a Molle hook and loop panel my brother made me. You won't be disappointed if you get one.

Nah nothing that cool unfortunately. Its just a commercial Colt lower that I built to be a CQBR. One of the members in the thread printed a run of the QR stickers that you could get with your own custom serial #. I thought it was neat and looked the part so I picked one up.

I was always wondering about the bungee 'shock cord' on suppressor covers. I know there's high heat nylon (or what looks like nylon( for mil barrel bags, etc. There must be a high heat shock cord too.

Thoughts on the FILBE main pack?  I was only ever issued one and it was on my way to Kabul, where I had no need for it.  I always disliked the ILBE main pack, but didn't get a fair shake at seeing what the FILBE was like in comparison.  All mine ever did was hold all of the gear I was required to take overseas but never used.  I called it the Tower of Shame.

Armor issues aside, I always liked how the ILBE carried better than the FILBE. Not saying that the FILBE is uncomfortable, however you can do more with the FILBE than the ILBE.

While the FILBE has torso adjustments, you might have issues getting proper fitment if you have a longer torso. Also, early FILBE shoulder lift attachment points were prone to tearing out (you can identify these models by searching your model number online). There are repair kits available which is what I had to do to mine.
