Just to be clear on this whole universal thread thing, I can attached a Silencerco Saker or Omega mount onto this YHM Turbo can and it will allow me to use the YHM Turbo can on my ASR mounts? I can screw the below into the YHM Turbo can? https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0157/8968/products/asr-mount-1_8e9c52cb-b16a-4f2e-9616-6d4ce49048bc_grande.jpg?v=1524504944 View Quote The yet to be released Turbo K (mini) can will accept the universal thread thing. |

agree that earpro should be used on sbr 556.
even if it doesnt hurt too much, over time it will damage your ears. |
|
^^ even under 140db "hearing safe" is still doing long term damage to your hearing. :D

Keep an eye on Silencershops instagram and facebook as we're heading there today and tomorrow to do some Turbo K testing.

@YHM_Kevin I'd be real interested in seeing the PS90. Might convince me to buy one and move my Omega over to my son's AR. ...and I'm sure we're not the only two. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Silencer Shop doesn't have a PS90 for testing, however once winter finally gives up we'll get some testing and videos done for everyone here on our PS90.

I'm sure I'll get my hands on one as well, but mine doesn't do Full Auto :(

Patiently waiting for link to your test video from Friday....

is there any chance that we will be able to send in our Turbos to have them refit with this mounting style so that we could direct thread them. I understand it would be a cut and weld job but it would be worth it.
|
|
can't retrofit at this time or the design makes it impossible?
|
|
Do you plan to make a QD only version of the K?
I have no need for the direct thread and prefer the less complicated system since less threads to possibly come apart when removing the can from the host. I run mine in my RLL so they definitely see a lot of full auto time I’m already committed to the QD between my phantom and regular turbo. |

Quoted: The Blast chamber design of the Turbo can't accommodate the 1-3/8 24tpi threads. The O.D. is too small on the turned section and the I.D. is too large beyond that section. View Quote Edit: moved other comments to industry forum |

I'm interested in how it does (sound and blowback) on your 10.5" 5.56.

I have bone stock 6920 and 6933 uppers coming in specifically for M16/AR15 pattern 5.56mm rifle testing. No adjustable gas blocks, no vented charging handle, no adjustable bolt carrier; standard carbine buffer and sprong; pretty much worst case scenario. I'm still patiently waiting for HansohnBrothers to let me know. I think they said mid March to early April |

Quoted: Answer I just got (~1.5 hours ago) directly from YHM was they’re running a little behind due to some machine issues and the first batch should roll out of the factory at the end of April. View Quote |

Well that seals the deal on a Turbo vs K. Main thing I want is hearing safe on the 10.5" And what is YHM FA rating? 30rds then cool or more than that? Good for a shot or 2, but rings the ears. |
