Thanks. No story. Just a couple of pieces I had left over from making a few platters. Picked it up at a mill in a 6 foot length.

Wall mounted bottle openers. Both have keyhole slots on the back side for flush wall mounting and hidden rare earth magnets to catch bottle caps.

I love small projects that use up scrap. Bookmarks with cabochons turned from green dyed and stabilized maple burl and red dyed and stabilized spalted tamarind. These take, maybe, 10 minutes from start to finish. |

A little wand making today. Handle is turned from green dyed and stabilized maple burl. The best thing is this hardware is set up so I can turn my own shafts and carbochons, too. With this one I used a poly shaft just to get a feel for the whole process. https://www.tiktok.com/@northmanwoodworks/video/7373757922368687403?_t=8mhwhI84rcs&_r=1 |

Thanks.
Chunk of maple pith that I saved from the last bowl. Cut it into 2 pipe forms and immediately destroyed one. Lol! Second one came out better. Still need to drill the stem hole and finish. Have on that I purchased this time. Coming in today. So far not bad for my second one. Attached File Attached File Attached File Attached File |

Now you need to make matching tampers. I made a few a while back. The brass hardware is a brass 1/4-20 decorative knob from Rockler. Attached File Brass knobs |

I have been out of the shop for awhile, when we moved, my garage only had 20A feeding the garage, finally got around to running a new feed/sub panel, and im up and running again. built a drill/battery storage just to keep them from laying all over the place, and made a stand hook thing for my bear I shot last september.

With the one I made, I bought one of their shafts just to get a feel for how the kit worked. I've since bought some more hardware kits and I'll be turning my own shafts. |
