Quoted: There’s a neat 20 minute behind the scenes look at Boba Fett called “Under the Helmet” on Disney+ Definitely worthy of a watch. View Quote Watched it this past weekend. Some of it I knew, most I didn’t. It was really cool seeing the screen test footage from when they were presenting the armor to Lucas (I guess) in like ‘78. |

I'm not giving Disney any more money after they fired Gina Carano

I didn’t know they originally wanted him to be white. Kinda glad they didn’t include the jaig eyes on his helmet, very neat that eventually made its way to Rex and Kanan. |

Good news for SW fans.
Rian Johnson (Last Jedi director) just quit, cancelling his SW trilogy. Patty Jenkins’s Rogue Squadron is cancelled also. RIAN JOHNSON JUST QUIT FROM STAR WARS, PATTY JENKINS CANCELLED! - Star Wars Explained |

Quoted: Fett shows up in Mandalorian season 2, reclaims his armor, wrecks a squad or two of stormtroopers, helps Mando rescue baby Yoda and then claims Jabba's palace as his new hideout. We don't know how he escaped from the Scarlacc yet, or what he did in the 5 years between the time he fell into it and when he shows up in The Mandalorian. View Quote Maybe he ate his way out. |

New teaser is out, doesn’t show much that we’ve not seen already except for Boba in a bacta tank.
I’m hoping we get Bossk, IG-88 and/or Dengar. The Book of Boba Fett - Official Teaser Trailer (2021) Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen |

I guess y’all didn’t notice the Millennium Falcon at the 28 second mark…

I don't think it's the Falcon. It doesn't appear to have the side-mounted cockpit.

This is a neat story - at least for us residents of SW PA. I had no idea Dave Filoni and Ming Na Wen were raised locally, Mt Lebanon exactly for both of them
https://triblive.com/aande/movies-tv/tv-talk-mt-lebanon-native-charts-course-for-book-of-boba-fett-and-the-mandalorian/ And what a worthless search function on this site. Never seen one so useless on any other discussion board. It even sucked when I paid their shakedown fee |

But we already have all of these completely shit tier movies. Now they're gone.
It's like finally getting rid of a politician. Yet, all the disastrous shit they did remains. This is a company culture problem at Disney. These are just symptoms of it. |

Just watched it.
Meh..solid 4 out of 10 Especially the fight scenes, some one needs to hire a new fight choreographer Hope it gets better. And wtf is with this once a week episode shit? Hey Disney and Amazon Prime, I pay to stream your channels so I can binge watch shows I am interested in...not be shown one episode a week like fucking regular TV. |
|
It was good, not great. The fight scenes were eh. It was only 38 minutes long, which is a bit of a bummer.

View Quote In what may have been a stunning revelation for them, they figured out people were getting the trial subscription, watching all the episodes from whatever show they wanted to watch, then cancelling. Of course, you could still do that simply by waiting for all the episodes to drop, but most of the interest is probably coming from folks eager to watch them as soon as they come out. So now you get the week to week shit. |

I liked this one. But, I didn’t know Mortal Kombat’s Goro was from Tatooine.

View Quote Haven't seen it yet, but this is what I was afraid of. I loved the first season of The Mandalorian, but season 2 really didn't have the same pizzazz. Back in the day, Boba Fett was interesting because he was a mysterious tough guy with cool armor. It was interesting to see his origin story in Episode 2, and I would have been ok to see him make in appearance in 2 or 3 episodes of Mando. But when you give the character an entire series, the Law of Diminishing Returns starts to come into effect. Which to honest, is the biggest problem I have with Disney Star Wars, aside from the general crappiness of Eps 7 - 9. New Star Wars content used to be rare, and it was exciting when it came out. Now, Disney has over-saturated to the market to the point it's just no big deal anymore. And it doesn't help that a lot of what they release is just bad. |
