If we're talking about ones that scared the shit out of us as kids: https://hardtickettohomevideo.files.wordpress.com/2017/10/salems-lot-1.gif?w=463&h=378 And to a lesser extent: https://vignette.wikia.nocookie.net/stephenking/images/8/89/Tumblr_nphfqkqGVF1rne776o1_500.gif/revision/latest?cb=20180413024122 Oddly enough Barlow (the head vampire dude) didn't scare me at all, probably because I'd already seen Nosferatu (which they obviously based the look of Barlow on for Salem's Lot) and Count Orlok was way, way creepier. And, even though they're from a TV show and not a movie, these fuckers creeped me right out back then too: https://78.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_mejbudwQfu1qedb29o1_500.gif View Quote |

Hell I lived close to Oak Ridge TN, which was known for messing with shit like the bear got in and I was outdoors constantly. Didn’t go hunting for a few weeks after that movie. |

You brought up Legend. The devil in that movie was pretty freaking scary good. As a kid, the movie Gargoyles scared the crap out of me. I haven't seen it since I was a kid, and I haven't found it on netflix or hulu. I want to watch it with my kids see it. View Quote |

GD is great for all sorts of things. Trannys, telling people what chili is and isn't and we all know it has beans in it. Now GD brings you childhood movie monsters. Took me a while to remember this movie. Had really bad animation. I am sure I am the only one to ever see it? All the small demons running around in this made me laugh! 1980's PG-13 horror, lulz.

I still have to close the closet door and curtains in my 11 yr old son's room every night because he watched Big Trouble in Little China 3 years ago and that monster freaked him out. He thinks Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street are funny, but that particular monster terrified him.
