Because the stamp makes it a $300 can. Also because I have a Bridgeport J-head and a lathe in the barn so I don't need the full $300 for Form 1 cans.

I thought about building one, I went to the build thread and it left me completely confused. It's like everyone talks in code, and I have no idea wtf they are saying. It took me all weekend to fill out eform for an SBR.

How hard is it to make one utilizing the OPS Inc mounting system? I am loving the idea!

I can't have suppressors in Iowa.
Maybe next year we'll get the bill passed. |

Because the ATF hasn't reviewed my form 1 sent 5/28....

Wish someone would make a how-to like the assemble an ar how-to's in the tech forum. I've waded through the 200 page thread two times and still don't have an exact idea of spacing, baffle forming, stacking, etc. etc. etc.
People would do this MUCH more if there was a simple "here's the easiest way to do this from start to finish" post. From the items and part numbers to the assembled product. I'm not willing to gamble $300-$400 on messing something up and having a baffle strike or something on shot 1. Know what I mean? ![]() |

Link for build? View Quote I have a 308 suppressor, but I would love to build one.. I agree with one of the other comments, the last link was soooo confusing. Can we just have a simple thread with links on exactly what to order to build one with a direct thread? I had all kinds of stuff in my shopping cart and even formed a few baffles from the caps you buy at the hardware store, but it just got soon confusing very fast with all the tube options, and various mounts, and flashlight tubes , etc... If you post if, I will build! Thanks in advance, I'm very subscribed to this thread! |

Ironic. I was reading the other thread last night, found via Google image search.
The parts site didn't come out to $100 |
|
Thanks to your original thread I know have built two .308 suppressors, two .22 suppressors, and a 9mm suppressor.
You have cost me a lot of money!!! ![]() The ATF approving stamps in 30 days didn't hurt either |

I have no issue supporting the industry pros and will continue.

The Steel version is easily under $100 in parts, the Titanium with aluminum endcaps is ~$130 Just looked up my orders.... Carbon Tube: $31, Aluminum thread adapter $30, Aluminum Endcap $30. You can save $10 on each of the aluminum parts if you dont get the anodized versions and just paint them. So that is $70-90. Freeze plugs are $.50 each at the auto store, you need 10, thats $5. Then you need some cheap spacer material that you can easily get for under $10. |

Shooter 2 in the 300blk vid need some lessons, Or is he new to shooting?
That rifle looks like a see-saw. |

The tubes and endcaps in there are pretty nice, but atleast the beginning of the first version of that thread had a lot of made up science that was spreading a lot of misinformation View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:
