What brand and what flavor?

Me, Maruchan Oriental. I drain them and then add in the flavor packet.

Maruchan

Either pork or Beef. I cut them with a scissors and drain most, but not all the water out. I like a little broth. I add way too much coarse ground black pepper.

Enough sodium in one serving for a whole week, but they are good.

Was top ramen shrimp until I discovered (via Zhukov) creamy chicken.

Bunch of rich mofos up in this thread!

When I was at WVU, everyday from freshman to half way through junior year, I ate two packets of top ramen cold (prepared in the morning and carried around until lunch time).

another fan of the Indonesian brand. Actually has packets of sauce and oils. Not just a flavored salt packet like those supermarket bricks.  Love it with a poached egg on top and mixed in.

Koreans have come out with new brands but label is 100% Korean so I don’t know what it’s called but I had 2 this month that were decent. There’s a Japanese brand that’s not one of the ones listed that I tried last week but I forgot the label. The US stuff is cheap, $1 or less but the Japanese stuff runs $4-8 each

Thats grounds for a whole nother poll!

To Drain or not to drain!

Indomei doesnt need broth, thats why I like it. Also the different flavors are amazingly tasty.

With Maruchan I will add 1/2 of powder into the water as the ramen boils. Then add the other half after the water is drained out!

I also add curry powder, schriracha, garlic, and anything else to make it taste better.

Pork Maruchan is my goto cheap ass ramen.
