I guess it was a slow day for the cause heads up in Maine.
 Attached FileYORK, Maine — A Thin Blue Line flag — a black and white American flag with one blue line — that had been flying from a York Street telephone pole was removed Monday evening, after sparking concern from the York Diversity Forum that it could be sending a racially charged message. Members of the York Diversity Forum noticed the flag and, not knowing any background about who put it up, had real concerns about the message it could be sending, said President Susan Kepner. Not only was the flag brought to Charlottesville as a unifying symbol for white nationalists, she said, “it looks just like an American flag but it’s black and white. We were concerned about the message that sends. We get along well with the Police Department, and we honor fallen heroes as well as anyone else. I solved my problem a few years ago. Instead of fighting being called a "racist," I embellished it and openly admitted I am a racist because I am a WASP (white Anglo Saxon Protestant) and we all know how "racist" thems peps be.
Now I no longer have to fight or deny when I get called a "racist." I just accept the tag. It is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay easier that way. |

The liberal narrative today is that every proud American tradition and value that we hold dear is racist.

Having said that, it's not an American flag. It's a special interest group flag, borrowing heavily from the American flag. It's 2019. Had a friend on FB try and tell me that after the great C-ville history re-write fest.
I told him I'd ask the officers I worked with what they thought about the ones they wore on their tac armor - including the non-white ones. 
I actually did. Their nearly universal reply? Stay offa that social media.
