Heh.
I remember when I called out a mod for violating a rule. Then, it was suddenly found that I was violating a minor rule and I got a 3 day ban. I dunno if I want good moderators on Arfcom, because then it wouldn't be arfcom. |

For long-term or permanent bans I'd love to see a trial by jury or panel approach. 4 mods, 1 or 2 site staff, and 3-5 randomly appointed paying members with at least 5 years on the board. Set forth the charges and prior disciplinary history and have a consensus decision made with input from regular members. Sort of the way attorney discipline boards work in the penalty phase.
But this will probably never happen.... |

Hopefully the follow through and ban the fucking trolls who bait people into personal_attacks.
That said, I haven’t been around since 2000 but I said to myself the other day, GD hasn’t had a fun or funny threads in years. I used to laugh my ass off at the goofy tinder and rifles in bathtub threads. Now it’s a bunch of whiney old dudes complaining and orange man bad.
