I've been reading threads and it's like Dayum Christmas it acomin early! Woohoo!
Why are you going to return it? Curious minds want to know. And for the record, I've sent back unemployment, about six weeks worth, but I kept the Obamacheck in 2008. |

Now we get to see the hypocrites that hate welfare, except when they qualify for it.

I would give mine to 1srelluc if I were getting one. Behold my virtue. It's signal is powerful and wide.

If I even get one, you re damn right I'm keeping it. It came from me in the first place. I can spend it a lot more responsibly than they can!

Any trump fan who thinks this is a worldwide democratic plot against trump is the worst type of hypocrite if they cash it. Worse than liberals. Worse than communists.

I'm not even sure what my principles are so I'll get back to you.
Why would you turn it down, you're the one paying for it, it's literally your own money the government has either already taken or is going to take from you.

I'm borderline not eligible I'd guess. But I hope I get a check, I need a new TV!

I'm a small business owner, so even when my personal income is low I'm paying out the nose for taxes. Yes, I want some of that money back. Actually I want a LOT of my money back. I want a LOT of people to get a LOT of their money back.

If I qualify for one, I will take it and do what I'm suppossed to do.
Pump it right back into the ecomomy. The .gov is literally counting on just that. Daddy wants some multi curve plates. Single curve is no jueno. |

Based on previously posted numbers, we’ll get the full amount plus the bonus for having a kid.
Then I’ll write a bigger check back to Uncle Sam for taxes because my withholdings calculation was off. |

Won't get a dime most likely.
But if I do. I'm paying shit off. |
too "rich" to receive one
ETA isn't it an electronic transfer anyway? Or is it a physical check? |
Nope, if I get a check I"ll consider it an income tax reduction. Goodness knows taxes are too high and I'm glad to get a little of it back.

Taxation is theft, if I get some of my money back damn right I’ll take it. Who happens to be president is irrelevant.

Taxation is theft.
This is a justified refund. Thats my principle. |
I won't be getting one, but I wouldn't have a problem cashing one as long as it's less than I pay into the system. When I was younger and didn't make much money, I did not cash refund checks when the total was more than I had paid in via taxes. But if you actually pay into the system, I don't see how this is an issue of standing on your principles. Aren't we annoyed that taxes are too high? How is lessening your tax burden hypocritical?

From what I have read, we make too much money. And, truthfully, we don't really need it, so I can't say that is unreasonable.
But, if they did send me one, I would just view it as a tax refund (of which I pay plenty of). |
Pretty sure our household won't qualify.
But if we do I'm not going to refuse it, since I'll be paying for it. I'll just take their debt and use it to pay my debt. |
I was a productive citizen. I make too much even as retired. I'm not "entitled".
In my mind Im just getting a little back after being taxed all the years Ive worked
I have to admit it feels wrong and I dont like the idea But yeah probably gunna cash that thing since theres not shit I can do about it |
I won't get a cent. It's MY wealth that's being redistributed.
If I did get it thought i'd use every damn cent |
