As you may be able to tell, I'm getting cabin fever and I'm really bored.
And ask away. |

If dogs have such a good sense of smell then why do they love the most godawful rottenist gross smelling stuff?

|
Did you get promoted to cutting lettuce and eventually assistant manager because that's where the big bucks start?

I miss Hardee's. They're all gone around here. Used to love the hot ham and cheese sandwich
|
|
It was better tasting than KFC. Good stuff. Hardee's 8 piece forced KFC to go from a 9 piece to 8 piece.
KFC used to take the breast pairs and make them into 3 pieces. |

OK, questions about Hardee's. I love that place. They closed down and left Texas over 25 years ago. What happened? Why did they leave? Any chance of them coming back. Carl's Jr. supposedly bought them out and Carl's is in Texas, sort of, so why not Hardee's? Were their hamburger patties frozen or fresh meat?

View Quote According to Wikipedia, Hardee's used the Roy Rogers fried chicken recipe after Roy Rogers bought Hardees. Such is corporate shenanigans and goings on. |

Same thing but typically Hardees's is east of the Mississippi and Carl's Jr. is west. Hamburgers were frozen patties. |

Their breakfasts weren't too bad they made biscuits every morning.

My first job too. I had long hair so I couldn't work up front. Also made the biscuits that weren't bad at all.
Funny story. Well, actually this is why I would never eat there. When I started one of my older friends was an assistant manager. Looking back that was probably a big faux pas on the company side but I digress. So my friend/boss told me to wash all of the pots and pans. They didn't have a dishwasher like a regular restaurant, just a triple stainless sink. So he told me use that sponge and this soap and wash all the pans you used and these too. I did, then when he came by I said look I'm all done, what should I do now. His face soured. He looked at me... "did you use the pink sponge or the yellow one?" Uh... the pink one? "Oh, well, that's the one we use to clean the bathrooms. Don't do that next time." No-wash it again. No-let's put that sponge over here where they can't be mixed up. Just don't do that next time. I never ate anything there again. |

I once threw up whole Hardee's french fries that got caught in the shower drain in my dorm. Was this by design?

It amazes me that they allow the typical fast food restaurant employee to prepare raw chicken. I would think the lawyers would require all chicken to be pre-cooked.

Did you ever deep fry chicken in biscut dough?
If so, how was it? |
|
OP I love you man, no homo. That was some great chicken but the peach cobbler was the best ever. I miss it.

But, the hamburgers at the Carl's Jr don't taste as good as those old Hardee's that used to be in Texas. Back in the mid 2000's I was detailed to North Dakota and ate regularly at the Hardee's in Grafton, ND. The hamburgers taste just like the ones they used to made in Texas. Out of curiosity, I googled Hardee's in Grafton, ND and they're still open up there. |

Did you ever get your skin pores unplugged from all the grease?
|
|
Did you ever work there when they made the fried pork chop biscuit sandwich?
|
|
Did you ever spit in a cop's burger because he wanted a liter of cola?

Hardee's chicken was the shit. The world is a worse place without it.

I worked on a farm all through HS - not a pussy job serving chicken & burgers.
But hey - I love everyone. |
