But....... On top of it, put a teaspoon or two of dried instant coffee "sprinkles" on top. Vanilla works good for this too. Anyone else do this?

There was a restaurant up in Northern Michigan that served ice cream with a mix of maple syrup and peanut butter mixed together and drizzled over the ice cream. Sounds weird but, Mmmm, it was good!

Vanilla is horribly underrated, in part because so much is crap. Hence, adding ingredient to cover up crap ice cream.

Used to work at Baskin Robbins.
Most flavors are good. of course the standards like Vanilla, chocolate, cookies and cream, butter pecan, and even strawberry and butter pecan, etc every once in a while are all great. The others specialties like baseball nut and other flavors of the month are all good too. Cones, shakes, sundaes, splits, banana and brownie sundaes, etc I guess Pralines and Cream is my default. But I don’t even really consider myself an ice cream person anyway. These days when I take the kids to 31 flavors I usually just go next door and get a Dunkin Donuts coffee and a donut ETA: the poll results

The answer is Chocolate.
There are many other flavors that I love, and some I may even love more than chocolate on any given day, but those all come and go while Chocolate is always there and always up top. Turkey Hill Double Dutch is my current favorite because it tastes just like old school fudgesickles. |
