On the advice of the hive, I tRied it. It's the best mayo, they say.
It is not |

It's all a matter of taste. That's what makes the world so interesting.

Funny, I have heard this often on Arf, have never seen it sold anywhere, but on a business trip in Bartlesville, OK, I came across it and bought some to try.
Meh.... Prefer the Hellmans's with Avacado or olive oil. Miracle Whip is the best though! |
|
It’s good but so is Hellman’s. Certainly nothing to get excited about.
ETA, our discount grocer had Mike’s on sale, super cheap. I should have bought more than one jar because it was excellent but they haven’t carried it since. Attached File |

I never liked mayo but after watching people in the south eat it with a spoon I actively avoid it. Eww.
|
|
I like dukes and Hellman's equally. Both slightly different. I also love Japanese mayo for it's super creamy and yolky taste. Works wonders in devilled eggs.

I just tried it this last reload on mayo.
Gotta say, Kewpie is better. |
|
It’s the best mayo currently in my fridge…….
Hellman’s is the best mayo. |

Never seen anyone eat dukes with a spoon, Jesus. Miracle whip just throws any credibility you may have had out the window though. |

I tried Duke's for the first time recently. I can't tell a whole lot of difference. Meh. Both are way better than Miracle Whip.

Grew up on hellmans. Always thought it was the best.
Dukes blows that shit out of the water IMO. The best mayo is home made though. |
|
Blue Plate Mayonnaise
I bought some on a recommendation from a lady at Walmart in Batesville Arkansas. Best ever. |
|
Used to like Kraft, but they changed it some time back and no good any more. I kinda got used to Hellman's, but living down South a while, both Dukes and Blue Plate were in my fridge. Back up in the Midwest, I can find Dukes and it's what I use.

|
It’s overly greasy/oily.
Homemade Mayo is best Mayo. BY A LOT. |

1. Miracle Whip is perfect for tuna salad, everything else it is dog shit.
2. Hellmans and Dukes are not much different. I buy both brands and what ever is cheapes 3. Mayo is the holy grail of my white culture. Do not insult my cultural heritage by talking shit about mayo. |

I recently bought a bottle but haven't tried it yet. Heinz mayo is the best I've tried so far and it's not even close.

I like mayo but I can't see any real differences between any of the major brands. To me they taste mostly the same.

Surprisingly still a civil thread so far. Impressive. Most impressive.

You guys have some pretty discerning palettes. I can’t tell the difference between Dukes and Hellmans.
