I just completed my BCM Build last week. This is my first M4 with M203 Cutout. I took it to a fried of mine that owns a local pistol range. He helped me bore sight it, and after they closed, allowed me to walk it up on paper at 25m. Build List: BCM 14.5" Carbine Upper with Pinned and Welded A2 BCM Lower BCM Gunfighter MOD 1 Grip Geissele G2S Trigger BCM M4 Stock BCM BCG (Auto) BCM Gunfighter Medium Charging Handle AimPoint PRO 2MOA Red Dot Magpul AFG2 Magpul MBUS Flip Up Rear Sight I have since taken the B5 mount off and replaced it with a quick clip for a one point sling. Also have taken off the front and rear sling swivels. I am going to be looking into changing out the M4 stock from BCM and going with a Magpul CTR. |

Despite everyone's mad dash to get full length rails, folding front sights, midlengths, variable power optics in omni-mounts, ect. ect., there are still few rifles as well suited for "all around" use than a simply adorned M4 Carbine with a couple of accessories like the last few that have been posted here.
I think its a testament to the ubiquity of the M4 that so many people with so many pretty looking "cool guy" set ups will privately admit that their "beater" gun, the one that really is most subject to adverse conditions, abuse, neglect, and still expected to work in a pinch and without a hitch is an M4 of some type or another. ~Augee |

Army said it didn't want a replacement for a reason. |

I've came full circle also. Just about every setup looks like a race gun these days. I'm starting to appreciate the basic carbines.
