I just completed my BCM Build last week. This is my first M4 with M203 Cutout. I took it to a fried of mine that owns a local pistol range. He helped me bore sight it, and after they closed, allowed me to walk it up on paper at 25m.

Build List:

BCM 14.5" Carbine Upper with Pinned and Welded A2
BCM Lower
BCM Gunfighter MOD 1 Grip
Geissele G2S Trigger
BCM M4 Stock
BCM BCG (Auto)
BCM Gunfighter Medium Charging Handle
AimPoint PRO 2MOA Red Dot
Magpul AFG2
Magpul MBUS Flip Up Rear Sight

I have since taken the B5 mount off and replaced it with a quick clip for a one point sling. Also have taken off the front and rear sling swivels. I am going to be looking into changing out the M4 stock from BCM and going with a Magpul CTR.

I like where your head is at.

Similar setup:
LMT 14.5 complete rifle
LMT FA BCG
LMT SOPMOD
Larue Tactical 7.0 Rail
TA31RCO-M4 ACOG
KAC Micro 600m Rear
Surefire M952v-TN
Geissele SSA-E
Larue FUG

Another 14.5" M4.  Primarily Colt, including a 14.5" Colt SOCOM barrel.  It's a beater, but a great truck rifle.

New duty rifle, Colt 6920. Aimpoint PRO, Surefire 6px, Colt "N"-marked CAR stock.  Things I still need/ need to do... VTAC sling, KAC rear sight or Matech(not a fan of the mbus sight...), and send to ADCO for cut, pin and weld to 14.5. Other than that, it will stay as is with only a light and optic on board

Despite everyone's mad dash to get full length rails, folding front sights, midlengths, variable power optics in omni-mounts, ect. ect., there are still few rifles as well suited for "all around" use than a simply adorned M4 Carbine with a couple of accessories like the last few that have been posted here.

I think its a testament to the ubiquity of the M4 that so many people with so many pretty looking "cool guy" set ups will privately admit that their "beater" gun, the one that really is most subject to adverse conditions, abuse, neglect, and still expected to work in a pinch and without a hitch is an M4 of some type or another.

Well said, brother.

But they need to replace those issued as is A2 comps with Battlecomp's in my opinion.

I went through a number of iterations including the block II setups and always came back to the basic M4 or CQBR with KAC RAS and an aimpoint or acog on top.  Army said it didn't want a replacement for a reason.

My jeep gun. This was one of those builds where the parts fell into my hands - Everything is Colt except the lower - 80% engraved with our family trust info and milled out by me - Currently wearing a KAC RAS and Comp 2 (but my camera is busted so you get this shot taken during the build )

I used a pinned Adams Arms .750 diameter Flash Hider to bring it to 16.10 inches. The skinny FH kind of grows on you....(and leaves the option of switching out barrel parts as needed)

Up dated picture (and parts)

Traded out my 4 MOA old Comp M2 for a new PRO with 2 MOA - Not correct for a "clone" build, but much easier with my Astigmatism...also added a Daniel Defense BUIS.  No other changes till I get a few thousand rounds thru it.
