NOT A MK18
But did you see what Daniel Defense is doing? https://danieldefense.com/m4a1-sopmod-block-ii-clone.html Serious collectors, don't miss the opportunity to own the M4A1 SOPMOD Block II Clone from Daniel Defense. This M4A1 is built for the hardcore, “USE WHAT THEY USE” enthusiast that wants to be as close to the USSOCOM specification as the law allows in a non-NFA firearm. View Quote |

Just started my MK18 MOD 1 upper build. Slowly accumulating parts. Sorry if this has been answered in the last several pages but which PRI M84 charging handle is correct? Combat latch or Military big latch?

Hes running Scarlarworks Peak sights.
Interesting tidbit on their site about those sights: "Peak Sights are designed around a modern 15" sight radius. While carbine length rifles have become the norm, most fixed iron sights still use components designed for the M16A2's 20" sight radius." |

I’ve thrown a razor on my mk18 just for the heck of it, makes it a lot heavier. For whatever reason I just keep going back to an ACOG on my cqbr. No batteries, 4x power and I have a front end cover that I flip up when I wanna shoot at “cqb” distances. For my eyes, covering the front lens and having the chevron superimpose is so much easier to look at than if I was looking through a 1x. Best advice I can give you, use what works best for you there are plenty of badass optics that are clone correct. Don’t stick with one just because someone else has one on their rifle. |
