I know the optic isn't correct or the muzzle device but I like the 2 MOA dot and I run my M42k on it so I don't care. It's as close as it will get and is closer than 99% of the people in this thread.

The biggest difference is you have a 10.5" barrel instead of a 10.3", but you aren't the only one who has a 10.5". Many use Aimpoint Pro/ML2/M3/ML3s instead of Comp M2s which also aren't correct, but look close enough if not the same as an M2.

Don't sweat the clone police. They wanna think they're opinions matter.

Fun switch! If I had another comp M2 I'd offer to sell it to ya.
T1 is probably a tougher optic but I'm diggin' the comp M2 quite a bit. I'm so used to the huge viewing/objective windows of EOTech's that I feel like I'm looking through a straw when I use my buddy's T1. The comp series ain't half bad on window size tho.

Nice. I actually like the RAS upper more tho.

On an unrelated note, I need me a VCAS. I finally FUBAR'd my 240 sling and something tells me this Eagle TAS-1 is only gonna cut it for so long.

Well, how much do they usually go for? I think I remember Milspec saying you could probably pick up a black gen 1 for like $50? I'm probably wrong though. Then again, Magpul is charging $250+ for their UBR stock, sooo....

Seriously though, what's a reasonable price for both a black and FDE gen 1 LMT?

Deals can be found on gen 1 B5's and black gen 1 LMT's. The FDE gen 1 LMT's are where it gets expensive as fuck, unless you come across a dude who doesn't really know what he has. 300 is fucking retarded tho, I would tell that guy to go fuck himself.

FWIW I payed 100 for my brand new B5 gen 2, 115ish for my new gen 2 FDE LMT, and 50 bucks for my beat up gen 1 LMT.

I think the most I'd pay if I had the money, for a gen 1 FDE LMT would be about 200. And I'd probably have to be drunk.

The last one I saw on the EE went for $200 and it didn't last long.

Quick PSA on that particular FDE Gen 1 LMT SOPMOD. I bought that exact stock from (username) brother-floyd for $250 and when I received it, it was beat to shit and fit super loose on my milspec buffer tube. Pics don't do it justice. I had to fight hard to get my money back and both eBay and PayPal got involved. I cited that it was listed as being in "excellent condition". In the end, we resolved it amicably and I returned the stock for a refund. But now to see that same seller listing it for even more money is total bullshit. It's been relisted like five times - I come across it on a regular basis. Please for the love of God do not buy it. You will be sorely disappointed. I've purchased a total of three of these unicorns and each time it turned out that the stocks had issues. The first two had each been bored out by the factory - a practice LMT does to ensure fitment when paired with one of their complete buffer tube assembly kits. So it's completely hit-or-miss on whether you'll get a $200-$250 stock that will wobble like crazy or fit like a glove. Be sure to ask the seller if the inside appears to have been grinded out. It will look like strips of sanded plastic where they removed material to ensure fitment before it shipped out the door from the factory. And yes, this is something I verified with an LMT technical representative by phone. I would love a FDE Gen 1 LMT, but I've struck out hard three times and at this point, it ain't worth it. My black one fits great and I'm sticking with it.

I never got the craze for the tan SOPMOD stocks. Black is far more common and cheaper.

I did snag one of the last major clone pieces I was looking for today. I also stripped down the FSP and getting ready to mail it out to a new home.

I admit I paid $200 for mine. It's in very good condition and, I'm a dummy I think $150 or so for a FDE gen 1 LMT makes sense...$300?! That's cray

Was mostly hoping to get secondhand to avoid SAW pricing, also have coveted SOPMOD parts I'd be willing to swap for a Colt selector.
