Considering it was me that originally posted the link to DD's mil/gov CQBR uppers in here, and that they're listed on DD's own .gov site, I'd say I'm quite in the loop on the subject. I know you were around to see the link/pictures/etc. Plenty around here have long seen the link/info regarding their mil configured and supplied CQBR uppers. Beyond that, the national sales manager from DD himself has personally stated in here on more than one occasion that those same exact uppers have in fact been purchased by SOCOM. And not just one or once. Frankly, I could give a shit what any of you Coltflakes think. DD complete CQBR uppers have been fielded. Period. Do they represent a fraction of a percent compared to Colt? Sure. That matters none pertaining to this subject, though. People that care enough can search through this thread all they want. They'll find me linking to the exact uppers on DD's site at least twice over the years. And they'll also find Joe from DD personally stating in this thread that their CQBR uppers have been purchased, and are in use by the mil - in some capacity. Whether it's 1,000 of them, or two dozen of them, still irrelevant. They're there, and still being made and sold by DD to this day as well. DD isn't continuing to make and offer mil only CQBR uppers because no one is buying them... You can believe whatever you want. I know many others in here that don't snort Colt flakes for breakfast also have long known the reality on this subject. |

Anybody running a Griffin M4SDk or M4SD series suppressor on a Mod 1. I have a brownells mk18 upper. Test fit my hammer comp today. Seems even with all the included shims and overtravel stop I'm just shy of latch gate screws clearing rail. Might just use a second over travel stop as a spacer. Anybody else have this setup or maybe another griffin muzzle device with more clearance?
