I would taken one of each color if I would have known. The variance in the green anodizing in the last two weeks is extreme and seems much greater than the FDE over the past 5 years. It is a little concerning.

I was hoping for a lighter brighter shade myself. I really hope Geissele adds ODG to the standard menu. ALG runs 4 different anodizing options so I know it's not out of the realm of possibilities.

I also like the color of mine. It has a dot where its down to the aluminum and I think I’m just gonna keep it. Its very small and you have to have your face 3 inches away to see it.

my rail is here, id say its on the darker side.

"Quick mock up.." It is not assembled, just hand-tight to help me decide what I want to do with the brown rail I received.

The upper is a new Colt 6933 I had waiting for a build. I will be placing a new crush washer on it once I torque down the barrel nut and gb.

One of mine came in today and at first i thought it was brown its so dark, just like the picture you posted.

Seems the light green rails were shipped first and mostly dark rails are shipping now.

My “OD” rail came today. At first I wasn’t too happy because it looked brown, but as you can see from the photos it’s pretty OD, in various lighting. It’s amazing how different the rail looks depending on how you hold it and what type of light is shining on it. One thing to note is the “blems” or scuffs on the rail. Luckily it’s gonna be a shooter, but still kinda disappointed a “new” rail came that way.
Overall I like it and I’m stickin with it.

I’m going to use a G gas block (carbon steel) but I’m also not using a Colt FBI barrel. If I were using an HRT barrel then I’d do the cut down FSB.

Cut-down FSB that’s re-parked is awesome.

I like both. Mil issue takes the lead over FBI issue for me tho. But ol' Wissota over there can't afford to do both. So I had to teach him to do 1 build at a time due to his income. Hence the priority talk

I think your guess is correct. My understanding is Berry Act models are brought in as parts kits and then assembled here.

I can tell you the GOV models are marked Designed in Oregon / Assembled in USA.
