I always think the same. The CTR looks great on an URGI but then I use one of my CTRs and remember why it's not on my URGI

I’m just curious, is there any 100% proof that the URGI is being issued and used in combat? Or at least the 14.5” CHF with Midlength gas?
Based on the Crane test, it seems to me like the increased reliability and durability of the barrel and gas system would be foolish to discard because of the rail, especially because they could just replace the MK16 rails with stronger predecessors. Unless they found out something negative about the Midlength gas system that didn’t manifest in the Crane test? |

It can work but isn't designed for it. |

View Quote As to which is a better buy guess that depends but prob pretty close if you include the other stuff. I have a pistol lower already built just sitting in my safe so I didn’t need anything else anyway. Edit: one of the Q&A questions on B’s site says it does come with the super 42 and buffer. |

Assuming everyone got the email about full URGI guns from G$ - looks like a pretty decent price to me.
