Was in a cardboard box with soft cell foam like in an oem pelican case that was then in another cardboard box.
Not sure how but I just think it happened in return shipping. |

If you're worried, send them everything but the handguard. It's easy to install. Barrel nut doesn't need to be timed. It’s really easy to build yourself. When I built my 14.5” I sent the barrel, flash hider, gas block, and barrel nut to John Thomas for a pin and weld. Once it got back it was as easy as put barrel in receiver, torque barrel nut, install gas tube, and install rail. 5 minute job at most. |

View Quote I should have done this but didn't think about it when sending it out for a pin and weld. I've built all my other ar15 uppers myself. It's a tiny little bend I'm not too worried about. Just a little bummed. |

Because OP said they were sending it out, I'm assuming they don't have access to a vise and the proper tools and fixtures. |

Just checked the box. Not damaged/ punctured. Even double boxed though it is still has some give. If UPS stacked a heavy box with enough weight on top of this it's possible thats how it got slightly bent.

Yeah I don't have a good vice setup or anything like that. May send everything but the rail to get it assembled and p/w, then have the rail put on by someone local real quick after I get it back.

Has a Leupold MK6 ever been seen on a URGI? i picked up a 1-6 with the CMR Reticel and threw it on the URGI for shits and giggles. The URGI is light as is, and coupled with the 17oz MK6 it makes for an awesome light package. Hoping its somewhat correct or i may have to build another for a non correct build

It was a small hairline crack, since it was one the first Shot Show demo EC's might had happened in transit or factory defect. They repaired it and didn't charge me, I expected to pay as we banged that thing around quite a bit. Light weight or sturdy, just hard to get both. |

Quick question for you URGI Warriors...
Would you pay $900 for a 14.5" Upper if it had the Geissele Barrel instead of DD? That's also without the BCG/CH which I don't need anyway. Thoughts? |

View Quote My first geissele stripped URGI with DD barrel and non Colt upper was $838 Second one I built: Rail $300 DD barrel 14.5 with gas block $390 Colt upper $150 If you can't wait you can always sell the geissele barrel later and get the correct DD barrel. If it's cheap enough I will buy the geissele barrel. I have a geissele lower that needs a upper. |

Does it come with the SF four prong? That’s worth at least $150.
Are you concerned about the G barrel or the G upper? They are not very clone correct if you are trying. |

View Quote Not sure if this was to my question/post or not but it doesn't have a pinned Muzzle Device which is perfect for me since I have 3 different Surefire ones to choose from. On the barrel issue, despite owning 2 SDs I'm unsure what advantages a DD barrel has over the G one. Actually, don't ever recall shooting anything w a DD barrel |

I suppose it depends on how cloney you want to get. Colt cage code uppers can be had for $180 or less. MK16 rails for $300 or less. The barrel is a problem to source. Nothing wrong with a G barrel, though I have no experience with them. It may have the new #SUPERDURABLEBLACKOXIDE finish on them, rather than phosphated. Gas block will also be wrong. Again, it depends on what you want. If you don’t care about correct parts it’s still a shitty deal. |

View Quote I’m not sure what that means, I know of a bunch of PJ units that got them approved by Guardian Angel as a Unit purchase and that’s what they’re running. So technically yes, your DDC uppers and Geissele barrels are clone correct if you want to clone a PJ URG-I. |

None of these have DD barrels in them so that one guy would still be clone correct for a PJ gun. Majority of optics are T2’s with magnifier but also Eotechs, acogs and a 1-6 MK6. Would the original PJ ones have been with the DD barrels and are just now using the Geissele barrels, or have the barrels always been Geissele? |
