There are no eFile F4s.

I did have a batch approval of cans recently where some were about 8 months old and the most recent under a month.

Badass. Keep an eye on the tracking though. I’ve seen it shit the bed on several S&B’s.

Ah saw it was just the lever and you’ve had the glass. Either way, awesome.

I really like the CMR. Just picked up a used 9.5” off the EE. My plan is to chop it down to fit the 9” .300 blk build I’m doing. Excited to get it all together.

I'm doing the same thing, making all my uppers "match" like that just with SLR. Which is easier since SLR makes every length imaginable.

Can anyone tell me if the KAC RAS FF (PN:21318) is 12 inches long total overall length (including barrel nut)? I have a 12.5 barrel I would like to use if everything lines up, but hand guard is stuck in shipping limbo.

Thanks!

It is, I believe 12.5" might be a little too short. Depends on muzzle device and if you use shims, etc.

It will likely overlap the back of your muzzle device a hair, which is fine because it will probably just overlap the wrench flats. However, if you're mounting a suppressor you may have to use extra shims to get it to clear, or it may not be able to depending on your suppressor and how far back it goes.

My rifle is a 10.3" barrel with a 9.7" rail. I use a Rugged Razor suppressor, and I have about a .1" gap between the rail and suppressor.

I was hoping to mount a Surefire flashhider and Socom can. I guess the locking collar wouldn't fit in this case. I'd like to get as flush a fit as possible. Would it be advisable to swap my longboi FF RAS for a mid length instead? What barrel length/rail combo would offer the flushest fit out of box? (Don't want to cut down barrel).

Many thanks Gents.

You could always use a spacer with your muzzle device. Adco makes a 0.25" spacer that could give you more clearance should you need it. With the set up you mentioned, I would guess you're going to be about .2 inches shy of clearance based on my experience with rails and Surefire warcomp/flash hider

ETA: Adco Spacer

Finally have the Mini Grendel together.  Thanks again to d. wilson for the work.  Uses the Spikes taper gas block like a couple other builds I’ve seen on here.

Very cool! Thanks for the link. Do you know if running a spacer will affect barrel harmonics/accuracy at all?

I feel like something is missing from it being a Recce right now... BUIS are good to go.

D.Wilson did great job with flush fit URX2 and assembly.

Not bad for shorty Kac LPR setup.

Yes, the 9.7" Ion Lite. My favorite handguard by far, out of perhaps two dozen I've tried. I'll be using Ion Lites of various lengths on every future build.
