Yeah that's the very same range the original Magpul Dynamics video was filmed on. I gotta thank @Eyekahn for the access. He's a member there and I wouldn't be able to get in without his invitation. I really need to join. Or we really need to buy a small stake of land somewhere around here because the shit we wanna do isn't too doable at most of these places.

Razor is a no brainer.  Especially at 899 from Euro optic.

The eye box, at least on the E, is insanely forgiving.

I had one before and traded it for a Razor. Weight they are the same and the glass is just as good but I wasn't a fan of donut reticle vs the dot you get on the Razor. Also when you used the illumination it would bleed out of the numbers and lines in the reticle. YMMV though.

Thanks. I’ve been looking at setting up something similar only using 8” steel targets and bounding to 25 and 50m. My range is 50 meters so I use smaller plates sometimes.

I'm trying to think of better ways to set the range up. We sometimes stagger targets and move through and past them but I'm finding we need a way to make corners and dividers to represent walls. The obvious problem is all that shit is too much to truck to the range; even hauling those two barricades out there can be a pain in the ass.

How can we build corners out there and break them down to carry home?... Actually just had an idea come to me, matter of fact.

ETA: Yep, it'll work.

Nice build!

I am building a "mini-mini Recce" or "micro recce" .   7.5" free floated barrel with SICO skakerk5.56, surefire light, DBAL I2, and ACOG TA44 with ACSS. Will that work in this thread or do I need to start a "Mini - mini Recce" picture thread?

PIC THEAD!!

Micro Recce!!! Flame on haters!!!

I’m currently using a radical quad rail that I had in my parts bin. I may upgrade to a BCM QRF eventually.

Haven’t shot it yet but the ACOG seems promising. I love the ACSS reticle, and the size of the TA44.

We will see this weekend when I put some rounds through it.

The weight is great and it feels well balanced.

All good.  I'm a sucker for a sweet QD mount too, love me some ADM.  And maybe one of these days my Holland will get a LT-104 off the used market (I can't bring myself to send that arrogant chode any money firsthand ).  But I'm looking at retiring (at least from the .mil) in 5-6 years possibly, so I'm looking at blowing a little less on myself (or at least being more selective of how much gets tossed at what) so for now.....Aero it is.

I mean it depends on their workload of course, but I've heard of folks getting one from both.  Worst that happens is your status doesn't change.

Ron does the M4 collars by request now because the standard "M4" profile cut isn't that standard. So he has you mic the barrel and sends one setup for your measurements, or he can send you an undersized one and you can have a smith fit it for you.
