Clear Ano Tanno stripped upper from Bad Attitude Dept. came today. It's a really good looking clear anno, with only one small ano blem at the back of the ejection deflector. Very small, and I'm certainly not worried about it.
I'll have to compare to my other clear ano parts, busy as can be right now. I've never seen a dry lube film like this on this inside of a new upper, interesting. They did state it had this on the webpage description. I'll also give it a barrel test fit later tonight, I've got a spare. So far, for ~$70 shipped I'd say this is steal. Pics taken with natural light coming in from the window, makes it look more gold than it really is. Under LED office lighting, it's light Tanno for sure. Update: Back from run'n. Spare CMC 10.5" barrel fits fine in this, not super tight but good enough. I wouldn't try and make a 300yrd tack driver setup with it, but for an SBR build no worries. Carry on     Quick LED office lighting pic before I leave.. busy with GrandPappy duties today!

Radian Raptor HB Clear Ano CH & Sparrow Dynamics MLOK finger-stop came in today. Bonus: The finger-stop is actually clear ano. Surprise! Nice.. it wasn't depicted as such, but I'm happy with that no doubt.
Also, not Tanno related but I wanted to have a full mass BCG again on hand. I've been using JP LMOS BCG's for years, and they're my go to no doubt. Still, I was wanting to have a full mass back in the mix. Found this from E2 Armory All the specs are on point, and super aggressive pricepoint right now. Titanium Nitride? Who knows, but those who shoot shorties suppressed know that the slicker the BCG is, the easier it is to clean. It's slick'r than snot, that's for sure. It's a little blingy for my taste, but for $112 shipped I'll certainly give it a try. And I caved on the clear ano Unity FAST micro mount from TacHuntFish too. That should be here next week. I've gone bat-shit-crazy on the clear ano stuff. I love it!

My JMac Customs Handstop showed up and looks good. It went on a USPS vacation before getting here though. Shipped from Illinois, then went to TX and LA before heading back to Indiana…
I wouldn’t call it Tano, more of a gold or copper (they call it “Boujie Tan”). It has a place on one of these builds though, especially since it’s not very big.  It measures 1.1” from the bottom of the rail. More of a finger stop/reference point than a handstop.  Pictured left to right: TrueNorth GripStop K, JMac, GripStop

Funny about USPS. I've been waiting on my clear ano Unity FAST micro mount for a week now (paid for 2-3 day priority mail.) This was from TacHuntFish. "Jake" finally responded to my "where's this at" email inquiry last night. USPS doesn't even show it's been picked up. Jake states USPS tracking is abysmal of which I agree but I'm having a hard time believing they even have my goods. Frustrating, but whatever. I really do want the limited run clear ano version of this little gem. Sorry for the rant.. New "goody" looks nice my friend. Anytime we find well crafted Tanno items it's a win-win. Carry on |
