Sorry, I wasn't that dumb. I hoped he'd win but set my expectations low. There was a very good chance the election could have gone a different way. Moreso if the Dems hadn't been dumb enough to rig their primary in favor of Clinton. The fact that the EC vote in his favor was sizable but, how that EC win came about should be concerning to even the most delusional #EverTrumper. You do realized he pulled off his EC win with just 107,000 votes in 3 swing states, right? Don't worry sco'... I'm totes sure, he's done nothing to flip 107,000 votes in those states so far! He's got that 2nd term nailed! Also, if you total the Republican/libertarian vote and compare it to the democrat/green party vote, Trump picks up another 30 EV (not counting Colorado, which would have gone to a recount because it would be so close), AND Trump wins the the popular vote. Finally, consider the impact of the vote fraud commission and the crackdown on illegals. That is going to be good for another 1-3% of the vote in 2020. Not to say he can't get there but making deals with Pelosi and Schumer and, giving Dreamers amnesty is not going to do it. When you've got rabid supporters like Ann Coulter pissed, and rightfully so, that says something. |

Trump Hoped for Elites’ Approval with Democrat Debt Deal President Trump’s decision to cuddle up with Democrat leaders to make a deal on the debt ceiling Wednesday was reportedly made because of Trump’s desire to be loved — after he came to the conclusion that “people really fucking hate me.” Axios reports that Trump, who has spent much of his life seeking the adulation of Manhattan liberals, has fallen back on his weakness for flattery and desire to be loved. A Trump adviser told the outlet that he has realized “people” (presumably the elites he was so cozy with in his days as a real estate developer) don’t like him and he looked for a way to fix that. This reportedly led to the deal he made this week with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), wherein he cast aside the advice of top Republicans and his White House aides and agreed to a three-month extension of the debt-ceiling tied to funding for Hurricane Harvey. ---------------------------------- "ONOZ!
