If everyone can take a break from petty sniping for a minute, I had some serious questions about this issue:
1) What do we realistically expect the Republicans were going to accomplish with regard to the Debt Ceiling that would have made us glad the Republicans were in charge of the process instead of Democrats? 2) Since the Republicans still control the House and Senate, what would have been the outcome if the Republicans had quit sitting on their hands, come up with a superior solution than what Democrats carved out with Trump, and then presented THAT funding bill to Trump instead? Thanks for any serious answers. |

I'm so confused as to why McConnell and Ryan don't pass a whole bunch of conservative bills so the President can advance their conservative philosophy
It is almost like the President even told them to pass a healthcare bill so he could sign it but even after almost 8 years of crying they somehow didn't have a healthcare bill for Trump to sign. Man, if someone had an IQ above room temp they might think that Ryan and McConnell were liars and obstructionists
